This historic rustic lodge has a great view and easy access to Lake Superior. The resort provides access to hiking, fishing, kayaking, or relaxing by the lake. Dining room staff are friendly and attentive; the front desk staff need improvement in this area.

The resort is located on Lake Superior, with a covered bridge and great view of the lake. There are adirondak chairs and a fire pit facing the lake that are available 24/7 on a first come, first serve basis. We ate a good buffet breakfast at the restaurant, but did not eat dinner. The breakfast included either continental or full...

On a recent road trip of Minnesota's north shore we spent one night at the Lutsen Resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a two bed Sea Villa with a lake view, which was very nicely outfitted and was clean and comfortable in all respects. There was a gas fireplace (couldn't make it work though), microwave and...

My now husband and I got married at Lutsen Resort and it was one of the most memorable and beautiful weekends of our lives. We will definitely be back for anniversaries and vacations to come! Our guests all told us what a wonderful weekend they had as well. My family also took advantage of the included activities through the resort....

This resort has the 100 year old lodge building new condos and town homes and the best kept secret is the 10 beautiful log cabins with huge decks right on the lake. Plus a real wood burning fireplace! It's super romantic. !!! The Sea Villas ( the people complain about) are an old separate townhome project about 3 miles away...

The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful. The dining room has fantastic views of the lake and is very nice. The service was unfortunately incredibly slow, and the dining room was maybe only a bit over half full. We ordered three things, a starter, an entree for our son, and my husband and I shared the daily catch (didn't mind the...

Thanks for taking the time to update us on your dining experience. I am glad you found our lodge beautiful and the views of Lake Superior from the dining room pleasing. I apologize for the poor service you encountered. It doesn't represent the resort's commitment to dining quality. I have shared your comments with our food and beverage director and...

We recently stayed in Cabin 401 at Lutsen Resort on Superior. While the cabin is dated I was pleasantly surprised to see recent updates in the bathroom. Cabin 401 is the closest to the main lodge but it comes with it's downsides. It is by far the furthest setback from Lake Superior (about 100 feet) and has the most trees...

I appreciate you taking the time to review the individual unit you stayed in. I'm glad to see that you appreciate the location of the resort. It appears that the cabin itself was not what you wanted, particularly the view, and I am sorry you were disappointed. It may be time to thin some of the brush that has grown...

The staff here is wonderful. The amenities are wonderful. We enjoyed playing horse shoes (first timer), bonfire on the shore, paddle boards, trails, etc, everything you could imagine, they had it. Nice cozy lobby area to have a cup of coffee and look out at the lake. The only "problem" we experienced was at night. There is no air conditioning,...

Our family stayed in B3 of the Sea Villas complex. The Villas are privately owned so each varies in furnishings. B3 was a bit dated and needed a sweep of cobwebs, but we went in expecting that. The draw of the Sea Villas complex is the expansive views of Lake Superior. We were 10 feet from the beautiful rocky shoreline....
