This place is a classic Kiwi campground. It's quiet, has basic (but clean and functional) facilities and the emphasis is on chilling out. The showers and loos are all good, working well and clean as a whistle. There is a shop, a takeaway van, beach...More

Motel units comfortable and clean. Can guarantee earthquake proof up to 7.1 quake! Friendly and helpful proprietor. Vodafone only cell phone coverage and intermittent wifi available. A bit overpriced for season but nowhere else to stay!
