This hotel was ok. It was CLEAN but definitely needs updated. Sink was old and cracked, faucet leaked, door did not lock unless you were inside to turn the deadbolt and the mattresses need replaced. We came to the area to ride atvs. We stayed here because it was the only hotel I could find that was right next to...

We were unable to find a reasonably priced place in Duluth to stay over a very popular weekend. The Country Meadows Inn came to rescue, about an hour away from Duluth. It is an "OK place" - nothing special. Very basic rooms, quiet, clean, safe, and quite reasonably priced - just what we needed. DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS -...

Breakfast was small but ok. People were friendly but would have liked a warning and instructions what to do when there was a tornado watch. Wedding we were attending at the golf course was close by so not too far to travel.

The place seemed really nice and clean but...at about 8:30 pm while I was winding down watching TV in my room, the front desk lady barged into my room unannounced. She asked why I was in there which was very surprising since I had just checked in at 5 pm with the same lady. She stated that I was supposed...

They could very well be 3 starts if they were to change the beds. They are old and hard as a board. There were two very uncomfortable sleepless nights. I was itching everywhere. I asked the next day if they could change my bedding including the blanket, which they did. The bathroom was clean. The towels were old and like sand...

Bed was comfy, pool (used by the entire family) was very clean - breakfast was small but adequate with good coffee (a must for us). We had 4 rooms & all were clean - because of previous reviews we did bring our own larger towels & shampoo. They do provide pool towels. We've stayed at their property in Aitkin also...

From the outside the hotel looks like a typical run of the mill privately owned hotel. This ends once you walk in the door. The owner(s) clearly do not seem to have any interest in reinvesting into the property. A quick glance around the lobby and wont scare you away but, if you look closely you will start to notice...

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary and to check out the area lakes. Staff was friendly, room was average and clean. Beds were basic...no pillowtops or extra fluff. Something I have always wished for in a hotel is a row of hooks for towels, swimsuits, etc...this hotel has that which is very convenient. Sink area was very small...
