This was like staying at other grand old hotels in other major cities. Dark woodwork, 4 poster beds, intimate lobby bar, and gracious service from all departments. Off the usual beaten path a little, so it is quiet but close enough to most of the reasons we come to Minneapolis

I have not stayed at a Kimpton Hotel previously and gave this one a shot on visiting Minneapolis this week. It is an obviously older property that was renovated some time ago and shows some wear & tear. When I checked in, I heard a dog yapping constantly and initially thought it was coming from the street. I soon realized...

Great hotel for gym, pool, steam room, sauna. Lobby bar is ok but closes too early and bar bar is strict - money is to be made so be flexible (hint - if bar is full stay open and make money!). Pool is awesome and locker rooms are awesome! Great steam room!

Spacious, quiet, clean room. Terrific Lifetime Fitness in the Hotel. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar in the lobby. Excellent fish tacos. Breakfast was superb and only 12 dollars. Brought up a coffee machine for us. Gave us a late checkout.

The Kimpton Grand gets the details right. Love the pillows, the bed, the shower, the heating system, the lovely employees, just everything. It was just a quick overnight trip to attend the Guthrie Theater, but it felt like a vacation. Thanks, Kimpton!

There is a lot that makes this Kimpton property standout, amongst its peers: 1) central location with easy access to dining and entertainment 2) Unique decor, and ultra quiet and comfortable rooms 3) A full service LifeTime Fitness gym in the building, so workouts can continue while traveling for business. However, I find what sets this Kimpton location apart the...

This is a great choice for a stay in downtown Minneapolis. It is more of a boutique hotel with a very luxurious feel. The staff are all top notch and everyone I came into contact with held a very high standard of customer service. The room has upgraded furniture as you would expect in a hotel of this sort and...
