Well decorated and comfortable hotel- the lobby is fantastic for grabbing a drink and as well as business work space. There's a great breakfast buffet and restaurant. The gym is sufficient and there's an ice skating rink adjacent in the winter months. The rooms are clean and well decorated- feels like a boutique hotel. This has been my go to...

Frequently in the The Twins for business and this is by far my favorite hotel to stay in. The rehab is really nice, in a great location and very easy parking. The bar and restaurant are nice and the Marriott Club is very convenient as well.

This is definitely my favorite hotel in Minneapolis. We had stayed at the connected Residence Inn for a few months in 2015 and that hotel was great. This is even better. Heather, Unique, and the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. It's located in a great spot, our rooms were upgraded to historic suites (if you haven't stayed in one,...

Wow, thanks Matt! I'm glad that you enjoyed that hotel and especially appreciate your recognition of Heather and Unique. I will make sure that your comments are shared with them. Great job on discovering the local area too! The restaurants that you mentioned are some of the most intriguing and indigenous downtown.

Recently stayed at this hotel for business, had stayed several times prior but several years back. Remodel of the lobby / hotel bar / fitness center was impressive. Great location, great value. Very nice job on the remodel.

We drove down to see an NBA game, hotel isn't very far from the Target Center. Was a good 15-20 minute walk but we like to walk so was fine by us. Staff was fantastic! Very polite and helpful. When we got there on Thursday they were just finishing the final touches on the lobby/bar renos. So we got to...

This is a lovely hotel in downtown Minneapolis, the bed is super comfy, they offer delicious affordable room service with great customer service included. The decor is also very artsy and beautiful, in close proximity to Mill museum and the theatre.

For a special Mom and Dad away from home, my wife and I stayed here although we live not so far away--and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The Renaissance has recently been completely renovated: lobby and rooms. We had stayed here once before, two years ago--liked it then and loved it now. The new rooms are dramatic. We recommend the spacious...

The Renaissance is a nice hotel, clean, with sizable rooms. Our room was one of the remodeled rooms. I was staying with my cousin, if I was with my husband I probably wouldn't have minded the translucent wall of the shower. If you had the bathroom lights on, privacy was affected. Also the modern sliding barn door, did nothing to...

love all the remodeling going on here with the train memorabilia and so glad we stayed here. Wonderful location with lots of food places nearby and shopping on Nicollet. Walking distance to US Bank field too. Room is very well appointed with nice bedding, fixtures and amenities.

Now that our renovation is finished, much of the memorabilia will be relocated into a small museum dedicated to our friend Bob Lark who owns much of it. Thank you for the great comments and I hope that you will chose to visit us again soon!

I did not stay over night at this property, but visited last week and utilized their newly renovated restaurant for dinner. The food, a collection of shareable small plates, was superb, and the service was top notch. They also have a fairly large drink menu. I would definitely recommend if you're int he area.
