This is a family tradition. Linda and Ernie are the best host you could ask for. Great rates, great fishing and Awesome cabins to fit any size group. We have stayed in #1 #6 #8 and #9 depending on the size of our group in previous years. They are all VERY clean and nicely furnished. Lake view from every cabin....

We've been managing to make a summer trip to the Royal Starr a family tradition since 2009! What a blessing! Our multi-generational family group loves the Starr. Linda and Ernie are kind and thoughtful hosts. We now need to rent 3 cabins instead of one to accommodate our larger and older group. The resort itself is beautifully located on the...

We hadn't been to the Royal Starr for about 7 years so we were hoping it was just as nice as before and we weren't disappointed! Ernie and Linda are very friendly. The cabins are some of the cleanest and nicest we have stayed in. We had cabin number 1 and the rest of the family stayed in 12. Both...

We enjoyed all the activities offered at the resort. Some guests chose to spend all their time fishing, others never fished at all and enjoyed the swimming beach...

We were looking for a smaller family run resort. This is it. The owners are so nice and made us feel right at home. The property is great. There is a nice beach, a few docks for fishing and planty of open space for kids to run around. Additionally, they had fire pits set up and a playground for the...

Once again, our 2014 stay at Royal Starr was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Linda & Ernie are great hosts. That's why it's our vacation of choice. We've gone to "The Starr" hit and miss for many years and get just as excited to go now as the first time. The cabins are top notch - the best around. Clean,...

My family and I ventured to this resort for Memorial Day Weekend. I let me wife take full reigns of this one. I'm a city kid and really don't enjoy being in the middle of nowhere. However, this resort give you a bit of nowhereness mixed with a bit of "I can still find store". Its litearlly tucked into a...
