Grandview Lodge is one of the big resorts on Gull Lake in Minnesota. The major golf courses are very nice, the grounds near the water well staffed, and the area itself very pleasant with beautiful plantings all over. However, our room in a Lake Nokomis cabin (not a lake view, we knew that when we booked) was uneven at best....

Our family of 12 ( 5 young children and 7 adults) went to Grand View for 4 days on their MAP. This was 2 weeks after the big storm and everything was back to normal. The kids loved it. They swam, rode boats, had tennis lessons, played golf, played bingo etc. Our cabin was right at the waterfront making it...

We have been to Grandview before but this time we stayed for 3 nights. Included was a dinner, champagne, chocolates and breakfast buffet daily. It was a great stay - staff was so helpful & the dinner at Cru was superb! Loved the beach and enjoyed our pontoon rental. The room was recently remodeled and was very roomy! A very...

I am a frequent customer of Grand View Lodge. I have been to all of the restaurants, and sometimes go to the resort up to three times a week-since I live only five minutes down the road. Also my family and I are aquaintences with members of the owner's family. Last night we had a group on the boat wakeboarding...

I spent several months searching online for the perfect resort that was in my price range for a family of 6. I finally found the Grand View Lodge, which was 8 hours away from where we live. We were booked to stay for 3 nights and set to arrive last Tuesday. We headed out early Tuesday morning and had reached...

We apologize for not getting back to you sooner regarding your recent experience at Grand View Lodge. In recovering from the storm damaged we tried our best to communicate with our guests in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there were some complications because we were without power. We needed electricity to access records of reservations and their contact information. During the...

I was disappointed. I felt like the hotel, which has been around for years, was still working the kinks out or just warming up for the season, which is odd because we went in July for a few nights. The only pool is indoors and the deck is really slippery. We saw several children fall--I will not be suprised if...

We spent a few days at Grandview. Our kids and grandchildren stayed in a cabin, we were in the main lodge. The lodge was a bit disappointing to us. We were never told about the 17 rickety steps to the room. It also was noisy as people leaving after an event or dinner stood in front of the lodge and...

We've been here twice with our kids and grandkids for Thanksgiving. They have gorgeous cabins big enough for the whole family with all the amenities. The Thanksgiving buffet in the lodge is unbelievable! That package even includes the excellent breakfast buffet for everyone. So much to eat and so little time!

If you are looking for a Minnesota lake spot for a family get together this is the place. We just returned with our family of 13 from a 4th of July perfect vacation. We stayed at the 8th fairway townhouses. They are 3/4 mile from the lake, but that was not a problem. These townhouses are huge and even with...

Accommodations, food, drink, and activities were as wonderful as always - thank you to everyone there for their hospitality! The newly updated rooms (we were in 155 which was perfect for two of us) are great. The one next to us looked wonderful with a screened in porch as well. Golf was tremendous - our favorite course is the Pines,...
