We absolutely loved our weekend at Grandview. It was SO restful, we never heard our neighbors and loved our fireplace. (We stayed in the Nokomis Cabins I believe.) The lodge is full of historic charm and gorgeous scenes (fresh snow didn't hurt!). We also enjoyed learning more about the history at the original cabin on the property, which is now...

Grandview Lodge treated us like we were their absolutely best guest. We needed some time to relax and unwind and we got it in spades! Food service across all the dining options was spectacular. We had the opportunity to come for the Thanksgiving Special and will likely come again next year!

Thank you for the wonderful review and we are glad you had a wonderful stay. I noticed though you only gave us 1 of 5 stars. Was there something we could have done to improve your stay. Just let me know directly at frank.soukup@grandviewlodge.com. Thanks and have a Happy Holidays!

My wife and I met another couple in Nisswa at Grand View Lodge for some much needed time away from kids. We chose Grand View over trips to Austin, TX and Nashville, TN specifically for reducing travel time and increasing our relaxation and ability to unwind - we didn't find that to be the case once we arrived. Because we...

We had a business meeting for 15. We rent the beautiful cabin #179 and the one next to it for our guests. The cabins are awesome! Luxurious! We ate each morning at the Lodge and the breakfasts were wonderful and the servers outstanding. One concern for GVL is still their work out facility and pool. They need a new building...

So often when you want to get away with your children, you get trapped in kidland, and pay a premium for it. This place is a lovely getaway by a lake--and has been for a hundred years. There are great activities for wild kids to enjoy indoors and outdoors. And it's a pleasant place for parents who want to look...

We had room #5 at the main lodge and it's very nice! Wasn't facing the lake but faced out towards the mercantile and the shuffleboard area. The room had a king bed, chair and ottoman and a small table for two. Very nice and clean. No microwave in this room, we didn't need one though. Had mini fridge and kuerig...

What an incredible fall spot to take the kids. The pool area is great, they have lots of activities for kids and adults, and the on-site restaurants are good (not great). We will definitely be back next fall. The people working there were very helpful and friendly too.

My husband has been coming to Grandview for about 10 years for an annual work conference. I tag along and enjoy the Lodge and the Spa. We've generally had the same room which is well kept if a bit dated. They've been working to update across the years. One winter stay the curtains were falling down and the room seemed...

I've been to a few resorts in this area. This one is by far my favorite. I like to stay in the cabins by the lake. Word of warning: all cabins are not equal! Some are stand alone, many have neighbors. Loud ones. We were constantly disturbed by loud kids above and next to us. Aside from that, the grounds...
