Have been staying here on and off for the last ten years but this time was the last. It was never a 5 star location but was clean and had a nice grass area for the kids and owners were always around. On this stay we were bumped from unit 6 so the owners family could continue their stay even though we had booked a full year in advance. My parents found an open condom package behind their bedside table and we found an empty beer can in the bedside drawer. The bedroom furniture needs to be thrown out and the cleanliness level of the units is totally unacceptable- found a bobby pin and ear plugs beside the bed. The kitchen and bathroom were relatively clean but the kitchen didn't have enough utensils and there were not enough plates and bowls for 6 people. The side arm of the couch was broken off and if this wasn't enough we looked under the BBQ and the propane tank was encrusted with rust. They did not seem concerned and put it beside the shed out back to be reused. For the price that they are charging they really need to improve the cleanliness and look of the units and the hotel itself - shameful. The towels are the same ones from 10 years ago and they gave us microfibre cloths for washcloths in the bathroom. Absolute rip off for the prices being charged and one last and major concern is the out of date fire extinguishers hanging on the walls that haven't been checked since 2010 and the row of rusted out propane tanks beside the shed that are clearly being reused.

Huge space 2 bed rms upstairs one with 2 twin beds and one with a double and a futon in living room. Had a little deck with BBQ. We were there for 4 nights and we never got new towels or the garbage changed. Wifi didn't work and know one around at office to help.

The room wasn't bad but for sure not worth the $175/night for a 1 bedroom. The info sheet on the fridge said office will be open from 9-12 but it never did open. Had to phone to get towel and kitchen linen change. Did not check to restock toilet paper, dish soap or anything. We stayed one week and never saw housekeeping ever. Rugs got pretty dirty on one week being at the beach. One cabin went and bought their own toilet paper because the owners were not available. Another suite got locked out and they took 2 hrs to come and get another key. There was never anyone there for checkin or check out. Owners own the restaurant and the gas station and obviously the hotel is the lowest priority. Would not stay here again for the money paid.
