Excellent service. Lots of history. I have been going to Red Wing for years. Got married there. Finally wanted to surprise my girl with a Birthday surprise and thought it was time to try you out, and glad we did. Pao Pao was great.

The hotel was an amazing choice for us, and we were very surprised by the size of the king room. We also loved eating at Jimmy's on the top floor - The prices make you expect MUCH smaller portions than what they actually give you, so be prepared to binge or take some home!

Loved seeing the historic pictures and articles around the hotel -- spelled out the history of Red Wing and the hotel and added the the ambiance. The location was excellent and gave us the opportunity to walk around Red Wing for shopping and dinner. The staff was very helpful

The St. James combines modernized rooms in a historic hotel with a very nice dinner restaurant and a pleasant old-style pub. Overall, a great "escape" destination. The historic Sheldon Theater, two blocks away, offers some fine shows through the year.

Do you allow pets?
In the past we had one floor that was dog friendly. This has been discontinued and we are no longer pet friendly. We do still have existing pet friendly reservations that will be honored but no new pet friendly reservations are being taken.

The hotel does have restaurant that services breakfast -- but a local downtown favorite is Bev's Cafe -- I am not certain if it is open every day for breakfast.
