Springhill is generally one of my favorite brands for limited service hotels, but this was almost a full service experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very new, so everything is immaculate. They take security very seriously, all exterior doors are locked at all times, the elevators are key access too. There is an indoor pool on the first floor, and even a water feature for kids to play with. We needed to do a quick load of wash, and the guest laundry was up to the task in just over an hour to wash and dry ($1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry, free soap at the Front Desk). The rooms are very comfortable, the bed was wonderful, we got a great nights sleep. My son even said the pullout sofa was very comfortable (second only to his bed at home). The Light Rail is just a few blocks away, less than a ten minute walk. There is a bar in the lobby that is open in the evenings. The breakfast options were great, and ample seating was available. For me, this was an absolute gold standard for Springhill Suites.

I stayed here just one night and will definitely be back when I return to Minneapolis- St. Paul area. Staff was professional and helpful, the free breakfast is fine, more than ample choices. The hotel seems new and the room layout is extremely nice and modern, comfortable bed and I loved the bathroom layout. Many restaurants- bars within walking distance and this is close to the state capitol. Easy to find and drive to off of 94 interstate. Parking indoors in their hotel is only $25 a day with in and out privileges- very easy to get in and out of garage because you pay for it when checking in and then just use your room key. Elevators go directly to your room floor, which is nice. Very secure hotel also.

Clean, detailed, organized. Staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was great. We stay at a lot of hotels and this is definitely one of the most family friendly hotels that we have visited in a very long time. Pool area is great for anyone with small kids, lobby is spacious and feels high end. Truly a gem in the downtown area.

The Springhill Suites Saint Paul Downtown Hotel is one of my favorite hotels in the country and I look forward to each stay. Hotel associates are all extremely personable and helpful. On this trip I was fortunate to be assisted by Chandra. Chandra is an excellent first impression, as I was greeted immediately with a welcome hello and smile as I entered the hotel. Chandra placed me in an excellent room. Hotel is very well built and very quiet, as room floors are carpeted. Hotel always looks and feels new, as I believe it is a recently built property. Hotel is in a great location. I am a runner and enjoy my morning run across the Mississippi Bridges and along the river trail system. Hotel also has a first-class hotel gym, which I also utilize. There are several nice restaurants that are within walking distance. I have tried a few, and they were good choices. The hotel also has a very nice morning breakfast and a very spacious breakfast area. I met the GM Jim on this trip and also on my previous visit. Jim runs a first-class hotel. Thanks to everyone who made my stay enjoyable. And once again, thank you Chandra.

We have been touring colleges this fall, so we have been in and out of hotels in multiple destinations over the last month or two. The Springhill Suites takes best of stays for us, coming in over other more high-end properties we stayed at. The property itself is relatively new, clean and well kept. The staff is stellar, from the ladies at breakfast, to the cleaning crew to the front desk personnel. I can't say enough good thing about how we were treated as guests at the hotel. Huge shout out to Chandra at the front desk, who got a small issue fixed quickly, even though I told her it could wait until morning. Her follow up call to make sure we were satisfied was simply above and beyond. I know it was busy, but she made juggling multiple issues look easy. I had thought this type of customer service had went away in the last few years, it took the Springhill Suites to restore my belief that good service can be achieved. Thank you.

I stayed two nights at this conveniently located very new hotel in downtown St. Paul just because it requires the fewest amount of points to stay there (17,500 per night).
I rarely give five star reviews, but this hotel was perfect in every way. My room is spacious, immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable, the check in was smooth.
It’s conveniently located about five blocks away from the light rail station and it only takes about 30 minutes to get Downtown Minneapolis if that’s your thing. It’s also a short walk to the Capitol or just two stops via the light rail.
I’d like the very secure indoor parking for my motorcycle.
Also it appears Marriott has finally changed and upped their breakfast buffet options at least at this hotel. Being a Marriott Rewards lifetime Gold member I was getting fatigued over the same old stuff every day. This one had piles of fruit, bakery items all presented in appetizing way.
It is not a full-service luxury hotel, but it had everything I needed and did it well.
If I were staying in Saint Paul again, I would definitely stay here.

...I recently had a wonderful two-week stay at this property. It is evident that the housekeeping staff and maintenance crew take great pride in their work. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The gym is complete and large. And, the breakfast bar has a great oatmeal station and is also very clean. Finally, the location is perfect! I will surely stay here again when in the twin cities area...

We are currently staying here and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff is amazing from check in to the cleanliness of the hotel. We have used the pool, eaten several breakfasts here, had drinks in the hotel bar, walked to the farmers market and a local coffee shop. There are great restaurants and bars within a few blocks and having the secured parking ramp attached to the hotel makes getting around very easy. Unfortunately the St Paul Saints were out of town as the stadium is also a few blocks away. Overall this is a great hotel and we will not hesitate to stay here on our next trip.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in St. Paul, looked new, and it also included breakfast and a swimmer pool for toddler. After our stay, were so happy with our choice. My toddler had a lot of fun in the pool for sometime each day, the room and hotel itself were clean and updated/new, and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was okay, but it is what I’d expect for the price of the hotel.

We spent the night here while traveling on a road trip and would recommend it. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff, and parking was easy in the attached garage. There is an $18 daily fee for parking. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The mini fridge and microwave in the room were convenient. We enjoyed the 24-hour coffee and tea in the lobby. The fitness center was open 24 hours/day and was well equipped with free weights, cardio machines, medicine balls, kettlebells, and mats. The only negative was the breakfast, which we decided to pass on. The offering was biscuits and gravy, no scrambled eggs or omelets, just old-looking hard boiled eggs, and brown speckled bananas and apples. The oatmeal and bread/bagels looked fine. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel, but maybe eat breakfast elsewhere.
