Friendly staff, clean amenities, perfect beach location and pet friendly we will be back.... we stayed 2 nights had only planned on staying one night but didn't want to leave. Will be recommending to everyone
We enjoyed a lunch break at this well situated caravan park. The sandwiches we had were tasty and we enjoyed sitting on the beach as we ate them. I did not feel inclined to go swimming as it was very rocky.

I'm not aware of any dugong tours. I'd advise calling the owners of the caravan park and asking them any questions you may have as the park seems be the only shop/eatery in clairview. You may be lucky and spot one from the beach. I've seen one from the beach north of cairns once.
I just drove in and booked when I arrived. It is a very large park with plenty of both powered and unpowered sites. I really don't think u would have any problems just arriving on the day u wanted to stay and get a site.
