We had items lost out of our hotel room. My husband and I stayed overnight for our anniversary. We called the hotel to try to find a lost necklace. Not only did the manager refuse to check, but he was very rude and dismissive.

I'm sorry our guest felt obligated to post this. They called days after their departure to let us know they left the bag. It was in a very inconspicuous location when found. I was informed that the guests were contacted and the bag and cover has been mailed back to them. And yes, we trust our housekeeping staff with our guests valuables. I understand the cover had a strong personal attachment, and hope they get many more years of enjoyment fro it.
