My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at the Sauntry last weekend. It was our third visit and we continue to be delighted at the friendliness of the owners, the beauty of the house and grounds and the astonishing comfort and luxury of the accommodations. We had both been feeling under the weather and the in-room sauna with enormous... More

What a beautiful historic mansion!! The house and grounds are lovely. The innkeepers couldn't be more accommodating and are excited to share the history of their beautiful home. We felt very welcome and pampered. The food was wonderful, beds were elegant. How do they keep that huge place so clean?! A perfect place to unwind and enjoy Stillwater.

The Sauntry Mansion is one of the most enjoyable and truly relaxing getaways that we've been to. The owners have done a fantastic job restoring the original woodwork and furnishings (from the late 19th century) and even provide a room-by-room history sheet for a self-guided tour of the mansion. A wine, beer and cheese reception greets you at check-in. A... More

We stayed one night in the William Room, from the moment you walk in you want to explore the beauty of this historical home. Tom did a wonderful job greeting us and explaining how the whole B&B thing works, i think he could tell if was our first time :) Our room was clean and tidy, no red flags of... More

We just stayed in the Ellen suite last week which was amazing! Very spacious, felt tucked away and secluded. The bathroom with the HUGE walk in shower was like a spa. First class gourmet breakfast brought to our room was indulgent and delicious! Tom and Sandy are so kind and full of helpful information. The afternoon wine and snacks was... More

This is our "special place" since my his ab and I have been coming here for over a decade and we have stayed in every room. We love the owners, Tom and Sandy, and consider them our friends. Nearly every time we visit, we plan our next stay through their slick, online reservation system. Here are the things we love... More

I booked a two night stay at the Mansion in the William Room for my husband's 32nd birthday. I think I checked out just about every B&B website, trip advisor review, etc. prior to booking a stay in Stillwater and this one topped my list. Neither of us had ever stayed at a B&B before - thankfully there were reviews... More

We have stayed at many B&B's over the years and the WSM will not disappoint in any way. Gracious, engaging and attentive hosts, superior and immaculate facilities and grounds, snacks and breakfast second to none. The steam shower was a first, and favorite. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast. The room was clean, the main house was beautiful, the wrap around porch had wicker furniture & was very nice. We arrived in time for the daily get together. There were several wines, beer, cheeses, crackers, olives, etc... This was very inviting. Our issues began with having to go... More
