This is a classy B&B! Dennis and Charlyne have been in business a while and take great pride in providing first class service - it shows from the minute you walk in the door. We stayed two nights in the room with a private bath and thoroughly enjoyed the balcony. Both breakfasts were spectacular. I truly hope we can go... More

Great accommodation – great location – excellent food – great hosts! We found Embracing Pines B&B nestled amongst great white pines with the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail just a few meters from the front door and the Kabekona River out the back door where you found canoes and a paddleboat at your disposal. We were in the area to cycle... More

From the reservation to my departure (at 3:30 a.m. to catch a flight) I was treated wonderfully well. The grounds of the house are beautiful, with trees, gardens, many beautiful birds, and a view of the river. The hosts, Dennis and Charlene, are very kind. They spent time with me ( I was by myself on a short trip to... More

We don't usually stay at b & b places, but we were attending a country music weekend in Walker, MN, and were a little late to book the hotel where we usually stay. Reviews of Embracing Pines were very favourable, so we went ahead and booked our weekend. We had VIP tickets for the music event, which gave us choice... More

Stayed at Charlene and Dennis's B&B in mid September with this being the second year in a row. The breakfasts are excellent and the hosts are always up for some friendly conversation. Received recommendations for restaurants and places to see in the local area. Stayed in the Kabakona room which was clean and spacious. There is no fridge in the... More

Dennis and Charlene you make this place hard to leave. Your cooking, kindness, comfy beds and general adorable good-naturedness and humor make your b&b one we will return too. The breakfast this am was so darn good and filling. I gained 5 pounds and hope to lose it on a walk near your trail. We loved the smell of the... More

We stayed at the Embracing Pines last weekend. The trip to see the changing leaves was made on a whim and so we had difficulty finding a place to spend the night. Luckily, the Pines had an opening so off to Walker we went. This Bed and Breakfast is a new Log cabin home with three bedrooms for visitors. The... More

A warm inviting home set in the woods of Minnesota, with a pleasant "Mom and Dad" feeling from the hosts that makes it comfortable. No standard breakfast fare here either, the morning was a delight prepared by a very accomplished chef, and served with a flare that we could not compare. It does not matter the season, as a retreat... More
