We stayed in Crackington Haven for 4 nights (but not at this hotel) but visited the restaurant and after the first visit to Coombe Barton did not see the need to go anywhere else. Small but varied menu of well presented delicious food at basic pub grub prices. Squid starter was light but meaty with a chili heat kick, the...

We pitched up at this pub a few days ago at 5.30pm for a drink. We ordered a burger and fries to share and to try as a benchmark for the food generally. The burger was delicious and tasted homemade. Fresh crisp salad items in the bun and the fries were fantastically crisp and light. There was plenty of choice...

We have been visiting this pub for many years now and have always enjoyed the various changes as well as the things that remain the same. Right now the food is good and varied, the ales and ciders are well kept and there is a great atmosphere,if you are calling in for a drink, stopping off on the coastal, path or...

Stayed for one night when walking the coast path. We arrived soaked to the skin, and we got our clothes dried in the tumbler. The breakfast was good, and the girl who served us breakfast made our day. She was literally running around, with a smile, and a friendly word to all of us. Her spirit was fantastic!

Lunch today was very nice indeed. Good food, prompt, friendly courteous service and a good price. We live fairly locally now so will be going back. It's a stunning location, especially at sunset on a sunny eve.

I stayed at The Coombe Barton for an overnight stop on the way to Carbis Bay. The Pub is in a lovely location with wonderful views. I got a very reasonable price for the room, the room was very large and had a very generous sized Bathroom, wonderful shower(in bath tub) very spacious. Couldn't fault anything cleanliness wise, very acceptable....

Such a beautiful little bay by the sea, trouble is the inn doesn't have to try very hard , there's no competition . Staying locally at a b and we went for supper , won't be going again. The place was busy and extremely noisy ,not our cup of tea at all, could be compared to a motor way establishment....

Stopped for a drink on a lovely summer's evening. My jaw dropped when we entered the bar - not with delight, but dismay. I felt really angry. The main bar is dreadfully tired, with rotten carpet, old shoddy furniture, dirty walls, loose cables etc. I believe these owners have been here a year now and if that's so, then there...
