We ate here tonight thinking it would be average based on trip advisor reviews. However it was really good and a really great pub. Large portions that we couldn't get through. !! The view was stunning and the bay fantastic. We had a beef dish which was lovely if a little large.

The bar is open and relaxed with a mix of holiday makers and friendly locals, many wander in with dogs and kids. The menu is surprising good with fresh ingredients, well prepared. Try the veal chop or battered monkfish. Wine list is simple but good value.

Out friends who live here reccommnedend this place. On our first night here we chose to have dinner here. The staff were amazing. Very friendly. The food was lovely. Quick service and delicious hot food was served. Even the people dining in there were nice. Such a lovely atmosphere and feeling of a homely pub.

Had dinner with a large number of family, and the food was really good. The staff were all lovely, very pleasant too. Only issue was the delay in a third of our orders not coming out with everyone else's, and again desserts were really slow. Very busy for a Monday night, so they're obviously doing something right! Would visit again...

Visited the Coombe Barton Inn whilst on holiday with my family. We went there for lunch whilst at Crackington Haven. We had five main meals and a drink each. The drinks came to £14.00 and the food came to £51.00. The meal was average and nothing outstanding. Service was satisfactory.

A last minute decision for our family party of 12 to have dinner at the hotel then watch the sunset. What an excellent decision that was. We were accommodated effortlessly without a fuss by friendly staff. They'd had a very busy day. Good selection of fish dishes & mains. Highly recommend this pub for stunning location & friendly welcome. The...

Recommended by Colin at Penny Crocker -excellent Sunday lunch especially as good vegetarian food hard to find. My fella had the pork which he said was equally as tasty. Busy Sunday but didn't have to wait long for service by the friendly staff.

We had a lovely afternoon here today with live music. This pub is very popular and if you want a guaranteed table you need to book ahead as most tables were reserved but they do have lounge seating which cater for people just wanting a drink. The food looked good and it seemed very popular definitely worth a revisit!

My room was large and had a big window, but the property is in desperate need of a fix up. I have no other details to add about this property except to say that I might try to find a different Inn should I return to Crackingotn Haven.

I've been to crackington haven many times before, but it has been 4 years now. Every time I come I have to go to the Coombe Barton. I'd never been disapointed. The bar staff this time were lovely and the food ok, nothing special but pleasant. Unfortunately the sour faced lady behind the food bar was rude and abrupt. Maybe...
