Wow - what more can I say! We arrived with our dog and were instantly made to feel welcome. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the whole ambience of the place was casual, relaxed and in perfect taste. Because we booked quite late we had to stay in two rooms (one night in each) - the first in the main...

All good things come to an end, unfortunately. Michaela & Sue at La Grande Maison have not only provided great accommodation at La Grande Maison but they given us great insight into Loire Valley wines. Apart from the accommodation, they also run Vine Adventure Wine Tours. Tastings at nine chateau over the three days produced a vast shopping list for...

We stayed for one night en route to the Dordogne and having driven from Calais that afternoon we were in desperate need of somewhere to relax and kick back. What a perfect start to our holiday! This place is really lovely, with wonderful hosts and a very warm welcome. We got an excellent dinner reservation in the local village and...

Our stay was a complete delight. Beautiful, eclectically decorated accommodation, wonderful hosts, stunning surroundings. Great to have helpful pointers as to the best things to see from our hosts. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Highly recommended.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights last month as a relaxing get-away from Paris and it was beyond incredible!! I have traveled many places in Europe, always using Trip Advisor reviews as my guide to accommodations, but this is the first time I enjoyed a place so much I wanted/needed to comment myself! We took advantage of...

This is a magical place with fine dining, outstanding comfort and generous hosts. We have stayed there twice over the last few years and recommend it highly to family and friends. Sue and Micaela offer home style comfort with a touch of class. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they have a wealth of local information. Sue and...

A great pleasure to return for yet another stay at LGM. With a lovely couple looking after us in their usual quiet, efficient and caring way. Our two day Wine Adventure was as good as ever. A chance to explore more of the different wines of the Loire and the characters who make them. Each day was a pleasant day...

If you're looking for quaint, a taste of the country, and to feel completely at home then stay at this B&B.  This 17th century chateau and outbuildings have been renovated slightly to accomodate guests and to entertain - they're absolutely wonderful and exactly what we were needing after a week of the Paris life style.   What we liked: -...

My Mom and I stayed in many wonderful B&B's during our time in France, but this stone farmhouse was in a class of its own. I can't stop talking about it, and my only regret is that we stayed for only 2 nights. Everything about this place is dreamy - surrounded by vineyards, delightfully decorated with a rustic/chic vibe (so...
