I stayed here during a short externship for a business in town and chose The General's Quarters due to its close proximity to my work site. The Inn is a quiet place in a quiet area and its rooms are cozy and comfortably furnished. While the owners are hospitable, they are not intrusive (which I appreciated) and they cooked up...

The inn is located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood within a few blocks of quaint downtown Corinth. Luke gave us great ideas on places to see and eat. The breakfasts he served were delicious and the presentation appealing. The king size bed very comfortable, the room spacious and the snacks and beverages a bonus. We highly recommend the General Quarters...

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Small businesses rely so much on word of mouth recommendations for their business that it is sincerely appreciated when a guest lets others know how much they enjoyed their stay. We sincerely enjoyed having you stay with us. Your were great guests. Thank you for your business and we hope to see...

Terrible storms kept us from being able to arrive at the expected time. We let our host know of the delay and he was so good about our late arrival. We felt very badly about keeping him up. Perfect location for exploring Shilo battlefield Park. My husband enjoyed the short ride to the park. He said that it allowed him...

I chose this place because, let's face it, there's not much else to choose from in Corinth if you want to avoid an antiseptic chain experience. In that regard the Generals' Quarters did not disappoint. It is in old Corinth, downtown, among similar fine old homes. Big trees. Cicada. Birds chirping. The breeze or the rain making soft noises in...

We stayed in Corinth before heading out to Shiloh Battlefield and the Natchez Trace. We stayed two nights at The Generals' Quarters and found the owners to be very friendly. Our first night's room was not very good but the owners were happy to move us to a better room the second night. Breakfasts were basic and filling. The house,...

My wife and I just got back from a weekend in Corinth, MS. We were lucky enough to find and stay at the General's Quarters. Luke, Charlotte, & Ginger took great care of us. Our suite was ... well ... sweet, the furnishings were very comfortable and homey. The home overall is decorated eclectically and beautifully restored and cared for....

We always look forward to staying at the Generals Quarters and have stayed at the Inn many, many times over the years. As usual, Luke (the owner) was there to greet us upon our arrival (with an offer of fresh baked homemade cookies)! He is genuinely welcoming and kind and always makes us feel right "at home." Our suite was...

Upon arrival at 3:45 p.m., there was a note on the door with a number to call, with these words, "I will be right over." The call went to voice mail and I left a message and waited 17 minutes outside for which we were not dressed - very hot, humid day. I called a 2nd time and this time...

.the reason for the note in the door is that I work an extra job,but ,I am only minutes away and can break away at a phone call. When I spoke to your wife I explained this to her and mentioned I would be right there. She said to take my time as you were going to stroll around town.I asked what...

Location is what the Generals Quarters has going for it. My wife and I chose to stay here solely based on its proximity to the battlefields of Shiloh and Corinth. We were in Room 6; it was big and had a comfortable king bed. The whole place is rather eclectically decorated. The two breakfasts we had were big and serviceable,...

I was looking for a place to stay close to the Civil War battlefield at Shiloh and found The Generals' Quarters. Really glad that I did because we didn't have Corinth on our list and found it to be a lovely town and had a really good dinner (Smith's) which our B&B host recommended. There are two lovely old houses...
