Our first time to try this lovely downtown hotel didn't disappoint us in the least. Helpful staff. Great breakfast, but don't try to pry the delicious egg recipe from Chef Jackie!!! Lovely rooftop terrace and downstairs outside garden with large Carp in pool. Our jacuzzi room was beautiful and well appointed. Love the art deco furniture throughout the hotel. Great...

My husband and I stayed at the Old Capitol Inn in March. I had read some very good things about it and wanted to give it a try as I travel to the Jackson area at least twice a year. Upon check in, we met a nice young man named Princeton, who was very helpful throughout our night's stay, giving...

This is a nice, in fact, the only, boutique hotel in Jackson. My first choice was the Fairview Inn B&B but it was full. PROS: it's in the center of Jackson, near the Capitol, and cheap. Our top of the house suite (#7, Heritage) was $169. Hip decor, gray hardwood floors, large suite, great rooftop cash-bar happy hour with singer....

My wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here and also stayed for a night after our wedding. All of their suites have there own theme. Ours was a two story room with a huge bed, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and an awesome atmosphere. We LOVED it. It's and extremely good deal too. We stayed in Sept. 2013.

Wasn't too sure about staying downtown but thought I would try this out as it had a fenced lot with security code gate and cameras, went it and very nice inside, rooms were large and clean, every room done by different interior decorator, French doors over looking front street from my room with huge king bed, Berkey was the front...

We spent two nights in Jackson whilst driving around the south. The Old Capitol Inn has real character, loveley rooms, is not crowded, the staff were very friendly and this is a great central spot to walk around the old heart of Jackson. Many old historical buildings within 4 or 5 blocks of the inn. Note that the streets are...

The hotel is in a great location near the capitol and has a welcoming staff. It has free parking in its own secured lot and a nice breakfast as well. We had a nice suite with TVs in both rooms and a nice bathroom. The decor was very nice as well. The rate was fair and we only regret having...

Beautiful hotel. Suite with anteroom. Newly remodeled. Flat tv. Shower stall. French doors open to overlook lovely courtyard with fountain and koi pond. Breakfast free and delicious. Conference facility spacious and theater like in decor. Amazing staff. Minor glitch of something left in room by previous guest but resolved by manager quickly and to our satisfaction. Free parking. No pool....

Stayed at this hotel during the marathon weekend. The rooms are large, clean, well-furnished, and over all charming property. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They provided coffee, juice, fruit, and bagels early in the AM for guests running the race. The location is very easy walking distance to the downtown convention center area. I would definitely stay here...

This charming boutique hotel is easy to get to from the Interstate, has a secured parking lot adjacent to the building, and is an exceptional bargain especially when you figure in the wine & cheese, full breakfast, and morning paper. The cozy $99 rooms work quite well for our one night visits. If you're staying longer, a suite might be...
