Dave, Morgan and Emma were all so accommodating and made my stay at this very nice and reasonable hotel in downtown Starkville a delightful experience (and I am an Ole Miss Rebel!). I didn't meet Taylor, but she took my reservation over the phone and was very professional and pleasant. Love the location, too! Breakfast was 5 star!!! I will...

First, this review is based on my daughter's experience and my phone interactions with the hotel owner and staff. My daughter was in Starkville for a job interview. Her flight from Atlanta to Starkville was canceled due to weather. Thus, she chose to rent a car and make the 5 hour drive. She arrived around 1 o'clock am without her...

Hotel Chester is a great, local hotel that is close to everything in the Main Street area. Walking distance to many locally owned stores, restaurants, and bars. The hotel staff are always very friendly and accomodating.

Stayed here as a guest of a department at Miss State. Very nice old hotel. If you like comfortable older properties this will be right up your alley. My room was big and clean. The hotel itself was very quiet--the MSU students outside after a few brewskis could have been quieter, but such is a college town. Clerk patient, friendly,...

My husband and I, as well as lots of other friends, recently stayed at Hotel Chester for a wedding and the customer service was AWFUL. The check in staff was unwelcoming and borderline rude. In the dining room area, the woman who serves you breakfast was SO RUDE to us BOTH mornings. She has an attitude, very unfriendly and made...

I have stayed at Hotel Chester at least once a year for several years now, and I am consistently impressed. The staff is excellent, the rooms are clean, and you cannot beat the location on Main Street. It is older so you will be disappointed if you are expecting new décor and furnishings, but I welcome the historic feel and...

Love this hotel. It is comfortable and homey. My daughter and I loved the location because we could walk to shopping and food!!! The college was a very short distance from the hotel. Love the owners they are so friendly and helpful.

The Chester has sooooo much going for it but doesn't meet its potential.😟The location is fabulous! I had a delightful time shopping in the quaint, beautifully decorated shops while my husband relaxed in the room. We were looking forward to having drinks in the highly rated lounge/beer garden and having dinner in the restaurant that had several Gordon Ramsay dishes...

We stayed at the Hotel Chester for the recent Razorback/Bulldogs football game (Woo Pig Sooie!) and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful, the receptionists were so helpful, and the location was absolutely perfect. And the complimentary breakfast each morning was easily the best I've ever had in a hotel. Thank you, Hotel Chester! You deserve every award you've received....

This is a lovely old hotel (from the 1920s, I think), which has been restored beautifully. Our room was comfortable (although not huge). The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's well located, downtown and near to MSU.
