Hotel Chester is a great, local hotel that is close to everything in the Main Street area. Walking distance to many locally owned stores, restaurants, and bars. The hotel staff are always very friendly and accomodating.

Just saw your revamp on Gordon Ramsay's Hotel show. I haven't been to Hotel Chester (so didn't think a review was appropriate) yet still felt compelled to give some feedback. I was touched by the humble nature and resilience of Sukie and David. They were true battlers with all the right heart and intentions. Very refreshing from the usual Hotelier / Chef jerks who are arrogant and just get defensive when Gordon tries to help. I'm glad Gordon also recognised this and adjusted his usual hard-nose aggressive approach. For Sukie to think and accept that this was just tough times and to battle through it with whatever it took (rather than just make excuses as so many others do), even though she and David were both clearly exhausted, was really heart-breaking. I guess all I want to say is well done to David/Sukie and family and my question is that I am wondering if the Hotel is still going well? The TripAdvisor ratings and the way the locals took to your warmth and hip new venue suggest that it's all good. Hope so! All the best! Nathan
