We stayed here for a week whilst travelling with family. The place is amazing! We stayed in The Stable, which is a great room, with superb views across the immaculate gardens, regrettably something we couldn't enjoy due to the great British summer weather. Louise and Virginia are fantastic hosts. We were warmly welcomed and shown around upon arrival and then...

Its a shame I wasn't in the area longer to enjoy the accommodation and surroundings. It was lovely, spacious apartment with separate lounge/kitchen area. Everything I needed for my stay, wifi, ironing board and very quiet. didn't get chance to explore the garden but it looked gorgeous. A very well cooked breakfast set me up for my day at work....

We stayed here whilst travelling for two nights in the Tamar room. The property sits in large gardens running down to the Tamar river, where you can sit to watch the river. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a separate lounge area. There is a really good selection for breakfast, the scrambled egg and smoked salmon is superb as...

Primrose Cottage enjoys a beautiful riverside location, with pretty gardens and stunning views. We were given a warm welcome by Louise, who showed us to our accommodation, which can only be described as superb - spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with every "little extra" we could have wished for. We entered via a separate living area, with TV, dining table...

I stayed here for one night whilst away for business. The property was pleasant and I received a lovely warm welcome. The gardens are very pretty, although a shame no bench to sit on in the garden as the 2 that were there are literally crumbling. I stayed in the stable room which was of a really good size. A...

I stayed in this beautiful bed and breakfast cottage for 2 nights. The location is nothing short of picturesque and Louise and Virginia, the owners made me very welcome and were the perfect hosts. My room was beautiful. Exceptionally comfortable bed with pure white linen, spotless bathroom and own sitting room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The...

This bed & Breakfast is a cut above the rest. To start with the rooms are more than just that. We stayed in The Stable which not only has a bedroom but a large bathroom (with bath & separate shower), a kitchenette and upstairs lounge, all for your private use. Throughout the rooms are immaculately clean and well presented with...

Stayed for two nights, which in the height of holiday season is rare as most places state a 3 night minimum. Louise was a wonderful host and the rooms themselves are very clean, comfortable and tidy. Would happily recommend and stay again in the future.

Everything is perfect about Primrose Cottage, from beautiful views, wonderful hosts to an excellent breakfast. A hidden gem, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A complimentary bottle of wine on arrival, to home baked cookies left every day in your bedroom, better than staying in a 5 star Hotel. Monika& Michael

I have just spent a week in the Stable room. Great king size bed, so comfortable. We had our own lounge up the stairs in our accommodation. Huge bathroom. Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. Robes provided. So many little touches, like a bottle of wine and fresh milk in the fridge. Denby mugs and tea pot. Lovely toiletries. Fresh home...

“There are only three rooms and they do not accept under 16's. We had the taymar room which is furthest from the road, and is ontop of another suite, so I think that this was the quietest : but there really is very little noise after 9pm - apart from the occasional moo or tweet”
