It is what it is, and it is very good! Staying at the depot is a unique experience you should add to your Bonne Terre Mine dive trip. The rooms are no frills, so you'll have to bring your own goodies, and there's no Wi-Fi, but the rooms are very clean, roomy and nicely furnished. They owner of the mine...

Very clean and well heated. Stayed in the caboose and it was a cool experience. Only wish they had more towels and a better mattress. After a full day of diving it was great to only be a block away from a hot shower.

I stayed here two nights when I was in town diving at the mine. The local mine tour operator markets this as a bed and breakfast. Well, there are beds, but the breakfasts are pre-packaged muffins that you get in the room when you arrive. So, lets just call it a bed. The décor is turn of the last century,...

Old train depot that was converted into a Bed and Breakfast style property. Five inside rooms with common sitting area with TV, microwave, fridge and coffee pot. Convenient location and a quick drive to the mine for those that are diving. Breakfast was minimal.

We only had towels for one day, and a single half roll of toilet paper for the two days we were there. The depot is very...

Stayed here for two nights as we were diving at Bonne Terre for the weekend. I think the other reviewer is spot on with his discription of this place. We chose it basically for its closeness to the mine, which is not more than a 5 min drive. The pictures of the building online also helped with our decision. It...

Stayed at The Depot as part of a Bonne Terre Mine scuba diving package in February 2015 with a group of diving friends. The building is a historic railroad depot, rebuilt in 1909 after a fire destroyed the original. The décor inside is aligned with the buildings history and may seem to some as 'dated', but was in good condition...

“The bathroom in room #4 was actually the old walk-in vault from the depot.”
