First, I'd just like to say that the campground was clean and the staff I encountered were very nice. That's where the positive ends. The vast majority of sites are not level. Most do not have much space to park your vehicle. (We camped with a 30ft trailer and have a 3/4 ton truck.) Navigating the very narrow and poorly...

Visited SDC for Christmas time with my family, the lights are beautiful, the food and drinks is wonderful. All around perfect family day/night. We saw the frosty the snowman show and loved it as well. Lots of cute decorations, parade to watch, and the big light up tree. Dont forget to stop by the taffy shop too!

We stayed at the Wilderness campground for a long 4 day weekend in March. We received the site we had requested based on the information shown on the park map. Overall, I found the sites to be too small for my liking. Many sites, especially those on the edge of the park (anything on the far side of the road)....

My wife and I took advantage of a rare 3 day weekend and hooked up the trailer and headed for the Wilderness....... Campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the camp is well kept. Highly recommend. Many of the sites are small but there is a good selection of sites for bigger trailers.

Kids 5 & 9 loved our stay in cabin 18. They liked the loft and roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. This cabin has a private back porch facing the woods. Also at the end of the road so there is little traffic. You can hear the roller coaster screams from silver dollar city on the porch.

We were camping with a group. Two of three reservations were made by the same person. The sites were reserved next to each other. SDC gave our spot away minutes before we arrived. They gave it to another customer that was ranting about wanting to switch spots. They had time to go change it before he moved onto our site....

Our family goes to the wilderness resort about every year. Accommodations are what they publish. We have a great time just hanging out in the cabin and the kids gathering firewood from the woods and making some sort of fort. Of course you are close to not things in Branson and if you time it right, you can beat traffic...

In October we stayed with our RV. Campground was clean, and fairly well maintained. Our site was right next to the highway, and it's a busy road, so keep this in mind. It wasn't too much of a nuisance to us, but it might bother light sleepers. Be aware that it's an older campground, and many of the sites are...

While we loved the ambience of the rustic cabin and the staff was super friendly, we found the accommodations to be sub standard. The beds were so uncomfortable that we compared it to sleeping on a concrete slab or the floor. We tossed and turned all night from sore backs and hips. Miserable experience sleeping or trying to sleep. The...

We have been staying here the same weekend in the same cabin for probably about 14 years. This year was the first time I have ever been treated with such hateful and mean words. The lady at check in was telling me about new business that had gotten this year and how much more important new business was than old...
