I spent two nights at the Gathering Place while I was interviewing at University of Missouri, and loved my stay. The room was nice and homey, and the B&B had tons of extra little touches - bottled water, coffee, and granola bars available at any time, chocolates left for guests one night. The breakfasts were amazing as well - and...

Every good thing (and I haven't read a bad thing) you read about this B&B is true. It's charming, each room or suite is unique in decor, the place is immaculately clean, the breakfast is over-the-top good, Debbie, Marc and the staff make you feel like a VIP, it's centrally located, and they even roast their own coffee!

Never have I a been a B&B kind of guy. But The Gathering Place has converted me! Debbie and Marc are consummate innkeepers. The accommodations are charming and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. (Seriously, this is seriously good food.) Plus every morning presents an opportunity to meet like-minded, purpose-driven travelers as well as University of Missouri faculty. The Gathering...

My wife and I had a perfect stay at The Gathering Place. The facility was nice, clean, and comfortable, and location is perfect as it's right next to the Mizzou campus. The service we received was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. I would highly recommend anyone stay here for a relaxing, enjoyably getaway!

The Gathering Place is a B&B, but the privacy of each room makes it elite in its class. Debbie is a magnificent host and cook. The location is superb for University of Missouri events as it is within walking to all of campus. The house is kept in top form and is immaculantly clean. Debbie and her team make this...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in Oct 2015 while we visited our daughter at Mizzou. The Wildlife Conservation Suite was wonderful, the location was perfect (included parking), and the breakfast was a wonderful start to the day (our daughter walked down from Gateway and joined us for just an extra $10). The code to get in...

We stayed here again because of our excellent first visit. The breakfasts are simply grand. The downstairs common areas are decorated tastefully, but not in an overly romantic and distracting way. We walked into the District for dinner two nights -- it is a fun, easy walk through the MU campus. The Gathering Place is a unique B&B.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gathering Place. Neat history and centrally located off the Mizzou Campus. We originally had the room for one night but enjoyed our stay so much, we stayed a second night. The bathroom was great, Jacuzzi was nice too. The outside was pleasant (we locked our mt. bikes up in the back), and they...

My husband and I went for a quick weekday getaway to celebrate his birthday. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. The chef even shared a recipe. We will definitely stay here when we are in the area again.
