The hotel was clean and comfortable. the host was fantastic..the price was great. Close to all of downtown amenities and the trolley stop is out the front door; Perfect for getting to the wineries. What a beautiful town and welcoming people every where you went.

Hotel was a perfect place to rest your head at night, nothing fancy but met all of our needs. The owner was great, the rooms were clean, it is centrally located to everything and the price is perfect!

I don't like giving this place a poor rating, but it is below average. The large guest rooms are very outdated and basic. The two beds in the room were full-sized rather than queens. I felt like I was staying in a old-fashioned dorm room. The continental breakfast consisted of a box of Krispy Kreme donuts one day and nothing...

We had a group of 11 for a bachelorette weekend and we had three rooms. The rooms were big, and seemed clean, however in the hall and one room there was a cat pee odor. The inn keeper was friendly, yet hardly there. It was a nice location, and we had a good time. The price also fit. I'm not...

Stayed here several times. Big, clean rooms with a fridge and microwave, table and chairs and wifi. Comfortable beds. The location is great. You can park the car and walk to Hermannhof and Stone Hill wineries, restaurants and stores, music in the park, etc. It isn't fancy, but if you don't spend much time in your room, this is the...

The price was good but it was like staying at a hotel from the fifties. Relatively clean. I thought for a minute we'd have to share a bathroom with others. Not so. The owner is helpful. Just don't look too closely at the rooms' furnishings and caulking. Thankfully, everyone staying our night was quiet. Avoid the room under the stairs!

I don't want to write a negative review, because it's exactly what I thought it would be. So let's just put it out there, an accurate picture and you can decide. I wanted to spend less money on a room and more money on wine. Mission Accomplished. Super 8 comes to mind. No thrills, no frills, but clean.. No hangers...

Not the fanciest place you can stay but it's clean and affordable. There is coffee in the morning and the hotel was quiet. The showers could use some updating, the water pressure wasn't great and I am not that tall but I had to bend down just to wash my hair. When we got there, the staff was there to...

Once again, the Vinchester doesn't make a big splash, but doesn't let down either. The room was clean, the staff (or lack of) was pleasant, and the location and price make this one of the better places to stay in Hermann. No glitz, no glamor, just a comfy place to rest your head after a day of drinking wine. The...

“Ther is no elevator. Come in off the alley if you want to avoid one flight of steps. Drunks coming in late can be loud on the stairs right outside you door.”

“Room 3 is the room nearest the "lobby." It can be noisy, especially in the morning when people are milling around to find something to eat. But Room 3 can be a delight, especially if you're a people-person!”
