We certainly like the management who were very kind and helpful during this year of the virus. We found the part clean and easy to get around in a big rig. Satellite connections were simple. We would recommend at these accommodations.

Stayed here one night while traveling cross country in our RV. Conveniently located right off 70 on old hwy 40. Friendly front office staff, flat sites, and pretty little pond. Convenient trash location near front office. We’re pretty self contained so didn’t use any of the facilities but were perfectly comfortable for our one night stay. We will add this location to our list of places to return to!

This is a nice park and they are adding more space. The newer area is quite nice with plenty of space. The older area is rather tight for larger units. The management was very conscientious in alertly everyone of severe weather and having us go to a secure location. Will stay there again if in the area.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating to a large group of Grand Design RV owners for a rally. This was their first one and we knew they worked hard to make it nice for us. They also catered the food, which was plentiful and delicious. There are fishing areas as well as a pool, although we didn’t use those. We did take a wagon ride through their trails on the property. It is down the street from Arcadian Moon Winery, where we enjoyed lunch and a bottle one day. We also tasted at Terre Beau Winery which is not far. There were about 4-5 other wineries in the area we did not have time to visit. We also visited the town of Lexington and the nice museum about that civil war battle. Independence and the Harry Truman home and Library were less than an hour away. Great Escape is a good stop for exploring a few days in the eastern Kansas City suburbs.

Thank you for the nice review. We appreciate all of our guests and the rally was a challenge but everything went well. We're making plans for next year so stay tuned.

The RV sites are clean and level with good hookups. The pet area is nice and grassy with a big bench to sit on. It is a beautiful, green setting. Our only complaint was the highway noise at night since I-70 is a heavily traveled trucking route.
