This small boutique hotel is located overlooking the most picturesque valley imaginable, with a rushing stream tumbling down from the implausible church perched at the top of the rock cliffs and meandering all through the medieval village. Unfortunately, the bed was so very soft that my husband had to sleep on the floor, resulting in a poor night’s sleep for...

We stayed overnight in this hotel and cannot recomment it enough. It is in the perfect location, with fabulous unique and special rooms. There has been so much care put into decorating and furnishing the property. We have never stayed anywhere are beautiful before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were the only guests on the night we stayed and were...

I really don't understand why La Bouscatiere is number 8 from 8 on TA? I have stayed at 2 other of the establishments on the list, and believe me, La Bouscatiere is much nicer! A big spacious room in a building that has to be at least several hundred years old; very pretty views of the village; the sound of...

Wow, what an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We spent 3 lovely nights here visiting the picture postcard Moustiers & Verdon gorge and couldn't have stayed in a nicer more interesting guest house. We had a most exquisite suite, sleeping to the sounds of the stream outside our window and wallowing in the roll top bath. The rest of the...

This place is just great. Right in the middle of the most ridiculously picturesque village in france, with a large courtyard which is also the restaurant. The decor is stylishly bohemian meets French rustic. The rooms are really charming and the one we had, Lula, had a really nice bathroom with stone bath and beautiful views of the cliffs overhanging...

I adored the bathroom, the sound of water, the owner's hat, the hidden garden at roof level, the welcome, never got to enjoy France's greatest young chef's food , loved the hanging star above the village, loved the road to Moustiers via the Gorge du Verdon which was dramatic.

My husband and I stayed here for two night as part of our honeymoon in May 2015. We absolutely adored it! The location is perfect for exploring the Canyon du Verdon and surrounding area and the town of Moustiers is one of the most charming places on earth. Our hostess was so kind and helpful. She gave us the BEST...
