We spent one night in this hotel, on our way to southern France. We were extremely pleased with the hotel, the beautiful town of Grignan and the sourrounding area. The hotel is set in a wonderful garden with a nice swimming pool. The staff is extremely helpful, flexible and nice. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet with a very large... More

This was our first stay at Manoir de la Roseraie and, indeed, our first visit to Grignan. Because ours was a short break only, we comfortably made the journey by car from the UK in a single day, arriving at the Manoir by 5.30 in the afternoon. The Manoir sits on the edge of the town in extensive grounds and... More

Located in a small park on the edge of the medieval village of Grignan, Manoire de la Roseraie is a well presented upmarket hotel. We enjoyed the extra space, yet with immediate access to the charm of Grignan Our standard room (on the second floor) was large and sensitively, but not excessively decorated. We had a pleasant view over the... More

A beautifull building just under the castle of Grignan. We had a room on the second floor with a view on the castle. The room was impeccable, nicely decorated with a very large bathroom. The dining room is located in a very nicely designed conservatory facing the park. We took the least expensive menu (€ 28) and enjoyed our dinner... More

Because we were invited to a wedding party close to Grignan, we looked for a nice hotel in that area. After consulting many websites and tripadvisor, we decided to book 4 nights at La Roseraie, by far the most expensive hotel on our list. First contacts by mail were very promising; we even received some pictures of our room, which... More

We did stay in the manoir de la Roseraie on July 19 and JUly 20, 2011 in the Favorita Junior suite. The staff was most helpfull and very friendly. The garden is very nice with a swimming pool and lots of areas to rest and relax. The restaurant was closed on the first evening so we went to 'le Poème'... More

Waking up in the beautiful high-ceilinged room made me feel like a 16th century Marquise. Everything about this hotel was absolutely beautiful with a magnificent kitchen. Everything was freshly made with great attention to detail. Although we had a minor fall out with cleaning, we enjoyed 4 wonderful days and would love to come back. Besides Grignan was a hidden... Looks nice on internet, but what you get is something else. Took the second most expensive room - the Favorita "suite", but only if that means a standard sized room and an oversized bathroom. It looks like the last time it was re-done was in the 70s - and the mattresses must be from then too; the door to the... More

This hotel is overpriced and does not merit its star rating. It has changed ownership in the past few years yet prices remain high wiht no significant improvements to the hotel itself. It is located just outside the charming village of Grignan which is entirely missed due to the Roserie's location. For a far more charming and tasteful hotel, excellent... More
