The motel is up a hill above the harbor and main road. The motel is old, but comfortable and clean. The room was a standard motel room. Our room was in a lower part of the motel that could be reached either by a stairs inside the main motel area, or through a side door that was accessed by a...

This motel is perfectly fine for a night or two stay. Check-in of our group of 41 was smooth and efficient. Our room was clean and the staff very friendly. Decent food in the restaurant and all in all we had nothing to complain about.

The Haven , at the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland is a great spot. Have stayed twice in last couple years. The Front Desk are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate and dining is good.

Definitely an older motel, but seems clean enough. The bathroom is minuscule but works. It'sy all OK, but the old smell of cigarette seems to hang everywhere, which is just not nice. We have noticed that a Lot of Newfoundlanders still smoke so even if they don't allow smoking anymore in the rooms, people are constantly outside puffing away and...

You will have to dial it down a gram if you plan on staying here. A storm was passing and I heard quite a few people turned back because there was no vacancy. The place is very clean, the food is really good, it's homemade style all the way. You're next to a few places to get something to eat...

St. Anthony, Newfoundland is a very remote location, so your expectations should be moderate, but the Haven Inn met our expectations nicely. The room was spacious, with one chair, a desk and task chair, and two suitcase stands (bonus!) The room was just a little different than the standard hotel layout, with the sink being in a separate room. The...

The Pros: The floors were laminate or hardwood. You could see that they were clean. The bed was clean and we slept well. The Cons: The floor was sloped downwards toward the wall. I first noticed it when I walked into the room and the top of the dresser was not level. It was not a steep slope but it...

Friendly, clean, fast, and efficient! The Haven Inn is an excellent place to stay in St. Anthony. Only a short drive to many local attractions including UNESCO site Lanse aux Meadows and the Dr. Grenfell museum. The shower had great pressure and had very steady temperature control. TV had a nice range of local and national/international channels. Beds were clean...

The cod tongues were great, but that's about it. Baked potatoes poor, vegetables were carrots, rice was terrible. Generally not worth the price of $30 pp for dinner. Food in Newfoundland is just overpriced. St Antony though is a much more upgraded town compared to the other towns, and this restaurant is a good representation.
