Arturo was helpful and friendly however it did feel as though the atmosphere was a little tense at times between himself and his partner. The food was good and huge portions. The room was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable. In all honesty we only stayed for 1 night and so this is all we can say about this...

My wife and I stayed here in October and wasn't to sure about staying in a casa particular for the first time but are worries were unfounded. The room was brilliant it was like a room found in the resorts clean, tidy and the a/c worked. The fridge was filled with water juice and beer. Then you have the terrace...

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful B and B for 3 nights in February 2014. We were made very welcome by Arturo. We stay in a room which was on the roof, so we had a very good view of the street and it was very private. At this time, they were building a few more rooms but...

Arturo and Esmeralda run a "B and B" which is buisiness-like and friendly. The house and room were immaculate, the shower was excellent. The minifridge was a convenience, and the T.V. was very good. Our rooftop room with access to the terrace was quiet and comfortable, as well as very secure. The cook is a lovely lady who can prepare...

Bayamo was actually a pleasant surprise during our trip - very nice town with hardly any tourists. Therefore the choice of casas is also certainly smaller than elsewhere. This casa was a very good choice though. We had a very nice room on the second floor with its own large roofterrace with deckchairs and rocking chairs. You have to go...

Dinner (chicken corden bleu) and breakfast outstanding. Arturo is a number one host that makes you feel at home and very welcome. The casa is located within walking distance to...

We had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Arturo & Esmeralda. The rooms were very clean and the food was to die for. I have never seen a Cuban sandwich so big and delicious. This was our first time traveling to Cuba. The host was very gracious and kind and able to make arrangements for our exploring Cuba. It...

We spent a night at this great home on our way to visit our mom's birthplace in Jiguani. Arturo was fabulous, getting us set up with a great driver and an air conditioned taxi. The rooms are small homey and clean each with its own bathroom which is such a plus. The host is very amicable and ready to provide...

We spent one night when arriving to Cuba and one night before leaving. Arturo really helped us to plan our trip - we were biking. He gave us names of casas in all cities we were going through. It was also the best meal we had in Cuba - the cook is a great one. Bayamo is a small though...

I have stayed with Arturo and Esmeralda several times; they are excellent hosts and make everyone very welcome. Arturo is a very helpful person and a very good cook: he prepares an unbelievable paella! The place – with three rooms - is very clean. Each room has color TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, ventilators and private bathrooms with hot and cold...
