The room was ok, although we had more luxurious rooms for the same price (25CUC) in other places in Cuba. The second day we stayed here the owner decided to paint the woodwork in the house thereby splashing paint on some of our stuff. We stayed here one night in the bright green back room, a bit difficult to reach by narrow stairs. The casa is OK like most of the Cuban privately lead B&B's but special here is Leonoor, the cheeky, talkative housekeeper, never shy to chat and render a sponteneaous advice. Located just around the corner from the main square. Quiet. BEWARE! When you are not steady on your legs, don;t go here. Room is on the first floor, and can be reached by LADDER only. Casa de Ana Marti Vazquez is amazingly central, it is right beside the cathedral square. You can walk everywhere from the Casa. The house is filled with antiques, it is very clean and offers all that you would expect from a casa. This casa has a large sitting room and dining room colonial style. It is overflowing with antique furniture and china and chandeliers. We stayed at the top of the house in a large loft room which was also furnished in style, with satin bedspreads and antique furniture.
