I can to Haramara for a yoga retreat planned by my PDX yoga studio and the experience was beyond all expectations. The Haramara property is truly breathtaking and the owner has found a perfect balance between simplicity and luxury. The casitas are gorgeous with touches such as open air showers, no electricity, candles, caroseine lamps, mosquito nets and hammocks. Everything...

I spent a week April 2016 and am preparing for my second visit. I love Haramara! The food, property, staff--everything is beautiful and it is the most relaxing place I've ever stayed. Reading through others' reviews, I agree that it can be difficult to sleep on still, humid nights--I took a personal battery-operated fan to use in bed, which helped...

Amazing property that is energetically positive in every way. Open air casitas with ocean and jungle views and no electricity. Loud crashing waves every night, beautiful butterflies, birds, flowers - this property is so abundant with the blessings of nature. The massage therapists are fantastic and offer more than just massage, but energy work, alignment work, etc. Food is vegan/vegetarian...

I read all the reviews carefully before attending a yoga program here last week. I remain perplexed by other reviews . This is not a retreat, it is an Eco resort. The nearby town Sayulita is all built up and can be very noisy with BLARING music from the beach and surrounding area at night. There is rampant use of...

Great experience! We hired the romantic package, includes great massages, romantic dinners. Hotel is in the jungle, no lights, no internet in the rooms, good opportunity to rest and disconnect from everything. Chef is amazing. Please consider that need to walk a lot. Pool has the best view. They have yoga retreats.

Amazing ! Wonderful food! Wonderful staff! Amazing views from the casitas as well as the yoga pavilions . The beach is to die for . The massages are magical ! Only suggestion would be that all the casitas be equipped with fans for those really hot humid days and nights. ( currently some have fans and others do not )

Before our stay at the Haramara retreat in July 2016, we have never thought that such a beautiful natural place directly located up the jungle hills could influence positively your philosophy to life – getting connected deeply with the nature or the mother earth and trying to enjoy every moment. My mother and I have booked for 8 days the...

I stayed at Haramara for a yoga retreat. The property is simply beautiful: amazing views everywhere you look of the ocean and mountains. The staff is incredibly warm and courteous, always going out of their way to make sure guests are well taken care of. The vegetarian food was incredible and meals were definitely a highlight of my stay. I...
