Hotel Peix is in the center of it all. Beautiful view from our 2nd floor balcony. Dedicated Chairs and umbrellas are set up each morning for the hotel guests. They will reserve a specific spot for you if requested. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are top notch and always busy keeping the place clean. Open air to the beach bar/ lounge with excellent food and drinks, but why bother getting up from your beach lounger when they will bring everything right there to you! There is a rooftop bar that was opened a couple of the nights we were there. Loud techno music was not for us. The downstairs bar and restaurant bar closes around sunset when the beach clears out so be prepared to go wandering at night if you want to do anything after about 6pm. No worries though, Sayulita is safe to walk around at night. Overall this place has it all-location and a staff that goes out of their way to make sure you get what you need to have a great vacation. Just note, there is a spiral staircase to get to the rooms so you’ll need to be able to climb stairs.

We hosted our destination wedding in Sayulita in March 2021. The week started with our bachelor/bachelorette parties. The Bachelor party dinner was held here at MAR with the help from Gus hosting the private dinner. He went above and beyond to make sure the guys had an amazing night.
The day after the wedding we hosted a Beach Party at MAR with the help from Gus again. We rented all the tables/chairs/umbrellas in front of the restaurant where our guests could come hang out, have a cocktail and bar food, and recover while telling stories from the night before. It was the perfect end to the weekend.

Excellent experience. Perfect location. Bohemian just like advertised. Excellent service
This is located right on the beach. Likely the hotel with the best location in sayulita
Decorated as bohemian which is suitable for this bohemian surfer town. 2 min walk to town square and all the action at night as well. It is rustic and bohemian just as advertised with nice garden in back and roof top bar. Staff were excellent.
Andres was host who took care of me and he was amazing. Best host i have had in many years. Brought my puppy and they were great with him
Room had beautiful view of ocean and felt like I was sleeping on the beach itself in the water!
Highly recommend it.

We didn’t stay at this particular place but we did hang out there for a couple of times because Gus treated us so well.
We were there celebrating girlfriend’s birthday, there was 19 of us and he bought a shot for all of our group.
This place is a great location, yes the owner was great, people took care of us were amazing, plus good food and affordable.
They had an upper deck, great indoor seating, and outdoor lounge chairs with umbrellas.
I WOULD recommend this place.

Location is amazing - right on the beach, with free beach chairs, in the middle of all the action. Service was friendly and attentive, food and drinks were delicious.
I had an ocean view room and the terrace and view were amazing! Air conditioning was awesome. The building is showing wear and tear so furnishings are quite old and worn out but I wasn't expecting a luxurious stay for the price. Room was comfortable. Value was good for a busy beach town.
The only thing that bothered me was the smell - the room and sheets smelled musty and there was a bad smell coming from the shower drain. This would be tolerable if there was a door to close but since the bathroom is completely open, the smell permeates through the room. It was bad enough that in order to sleep I had to put towels over the drain to keep the smell at bay.

We booked a 1 night stay for our day trip and it was perfect! Hotel was nice and clean. It came with beach loungers and umbrella. It was very convenient to have our hotel ocean front so when we were done swimming in the ocean, it was easy to go clean up. We ordered margaritas, which were awesome! Equally as awesome were enchiladas, ceviche tostadas and french fries!! All of the food was so delicious and the service was great!! Looking forward to returning! Loved it!

This hotel deserves all the hype. Right on the beach, inexpensive, free beach set ups with umbrella and chairs and awesome food. My boyfriend and I are surfers and the main break was directly in front of hotel peix which was super convenient. There are board rentals directly next to the hotel as well. I felt so safe staying here and never worried about non guests roaming around the hotel because the staff was alert and the hotel is locked at night. The super star of hotel piex is Adun Rivera. Adun knew all the guests by name and always made you feel welcome. He takes so much pride in the hotel and their service. He set my boyfriend and I up on a boat tour and frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect about our trip. We enjoyed visiting so much that we will definitely return to sayulita and cannot imagine staying anywhere else! Thank you to Adun and the amazing staff at hotel peix!

We came here for a long weekend. Great location and friendly vibe and great service. Good prices. We could hear the DJ party down the beach on Friday night. But nothing that a few margaritas couldn’t take care of. Surfboard rentals at multiple spots next to hotel although quality of equipment is well used. If you love to eat tacos, surf and have a few drinks this is a great place. I would come back for sure.

Laid back surfers are not the only ones who want direct access to the beach in the day, plus the soothing sound of waves at night. I am happy with my corner room facing the ocean and it is simple and comfortable with a charming balcony overlooking the beach. Airy bright room, good shower.
Everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming. The ginger margarita is divine. On some nights there is louder music next door until early hours but not every night and it is manageable if you are prepared. There is a narrow spiral staircase so if you don’t like that best to ask for a lower floor. Near to all the fun shopping and restaurants. It is also useful to be staying on the beachfront so you can relax and enjoy it without having to rent a chair and lug all your things here!
NB. Important if you haven’t figured it out …but parking is a huge challenge in Sayulita so bringing a rental car is not necessarily the best option if staying here. Taxis are nearby.

This place has a good impression they greed you as soon as walk in . Very helpful as me and my couple decided to walk the town for a few we headed back to our room early so around 1230 am one of there employees of the hotel unlocks our door with his keys and walks in our room.as we were asleep my wife yelled and he said I didn’t you were in here and ran off as I went to the door he disappeared I’ve called there reception the lady said if you don’t like leave this is some very sneaky stuff going on here next day in the am we decided to leave ran into a few employees in the bar lobby I’ve ask who’s In charge and a Gustavo said me told him the issue and it didn’t really concern him as I’ve looked over. and the guy that walked in on us was seating There I’ve told him and he said I’ve give you the person in charge number call him. It’s not save they could take your belongings or even hurts us as we stay there.

We visited in January during the Film Festival, which was kind of a kick. We took a taxi from the airport to the Hotel Peix. There is a taxi stand just outside the airport. It was easy to find. (We didn't use the taxi stand inside the airport.) Look for the pedestrian bridge that crosses across the highway in front of the airport. Cross it, and you will find the taxi stand just at the bottom as you exit the bridge. It was a little bit busy, but not too bad. As I recall, the price was around 700 pesos - about $35. I asked the price before starting, and it was all good.
Hello Mr.! There´s is not parking available from the hotel, but you can find parking at the beisbol camp near by (3 blocks away) or at the street it´s safe, Sayulita it´s a small town if you are staying there all the time we suggest you not to bring car. Anything else I´ll be pending on you. Best!
Yes, my wife and I stayed four nights and it has been excellent. The room of superior quality not only in dimension ... everything was of quality. Even the amenities were Pineda Covalín. And what about the view? Facing the sea in the center of the bay.
