There is a bar above the Airbnb and you can hear absolutely everything, they give you earplugs but even with that the sound penetrates, the place is very nice it hurts the theme of the bar if the bar wasn't there I would definitely come again but I prefer to be able to sleep to a nice place

"a bad taste in my mouth." As another review summarized well, there is a large and loud club that they own, which sits directly on top of the hotel. In addition, they won't allow refunds, don't have onsite staff (a weird whatsapp message system for check ins), no amenities, no parking, and they claim to try to get in touch regarding the A/C going out in the suite I booked (spoiler, they didn't contact me). They put us in two tiny rooms last minute, and I didn't have a choice for one night's stay comped. It's insane how pricey it was given the other rates in town at much better places (it was double), but I used my capital one credit on it. Avoid Amaia all together and go somewhere else. I hope you guys refusing any sort of reimbursement is worth a bad review to you :) .

Dear client, the first clarification to your comment is that we do not have any club, as all clients are mentioned when making their reservation, our location is in the middle of all the bars and nightclubs in town, as well as being on the street. major. Likewise, at the time of making the reservation, you are asked to contact the hotel directly to register your arrival time and all the guidelines that must be followed to check in. There is nothing unusual in asking for identification before entering any hotel where you go to verify that you are the holder of the reservation. You were offered two rooms in a better category than the one you had reserved without any extra charge and which you yourself agreed to without showing discomfort at that time, on the contrary because it was more convenient. Unfortunately, you have acted dishonestly by wanting to request a refund after having stayed and spent the night at our hotel. If indeed other places had a better rate, you should have accepted the cancellation with us when after many attempts we were finally able to contact you since you did not even provide your real number when registering your reservation.

The hotel is directly underneath the Amaia club which blasts music past 3 am most nights. Sometimes people were directly above us, talking loudly, until 5 am. Even when the Amaia club was not open, nearby clubs would play music till 3 am, making it very difficult to sleep (even with earplugs/headphones). Even if you could drown out the noise, the bed would be vibrating from the music. This was not mentioned on the website. The hot water in the shower would only last for a few minutes at a time, becoming lukewarm but hot again if you left it running. The water pressure was not great. There are no windows in the rooms. Two of the rooms are connected to the reception area (people always talking outside your door) and not the cute little courtyard.

Rooms right under a club with very very load music playing everyday - impossible to sleep until the club closes at 4:00. No windows, stuffy and humid air. No refunds. Very central constant car traffic. Charming staff.

Hotel had no water for toilet or shower. We were booked for 4 nights but first night we had no water . We would have chalked it up to a temporary problem but other guests said they had no water 3 nights in a row. Two other rooms checked out in addition to us. Hotel refused to refund our payment for the 3 nights we had to stay elsewhere

We were looking for a nice place for 2 nights and then we saw this place walking by. Fernando was so excellent and helpful and we decided to stay.

We would definitely return and this place is simple but very elegant.

Book it now. You will be happy you did.

This resort has everything that is described. Boutique/Prime Location/Clean/Strong Wi-fi/Cold AC/Perfect for Couples or Solo travelers. You'll love it! It was the service that surprised me and exceeded my expectations. Joaquin stepped up to help me out without hesitation. He didn't have to but was eager to assist. He made several phone calls, translated, and worked to troubleshoot my unique situation. I couldn't have done it without his help. Hope to make it back soon.

If you book at this hotel, do not go to the room that is on the boulevard, I will only talk about it because I don't know how the others are.
Terrible, the noise from the club is terrible, I had to put on earplugs to half sleep and after that there is no one to help you if you need paper or shampoo because everything is by WhatsApp and they are not there 24 hours a day, terrible
