I stayed for 5 nights in November and had one of the private rooms at the front of the building. I really enjoyed my stay, Connie made me feel very welcome and she was always available if I needed anything or had questions. There is a nice little kitchen to use, but I did not use it too much because...

I stayed at this place for 10 nights (1 in dorm/9 in private room) and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is located on the quite side of sayulita (right side of the river) with walking distance to the town centre in 5min and beach/surfspot in 2min. A supermarket is next door and restaurants are within 3-5min walk. The hostel...

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Amistad. We had the private room on the ground floor in the back with the private bathroom, which was ideal. I was nervous about booking at first because of the lack of photos online, so I've uploaded my own in case that helps any future travelers. The room was in great shape, clean and...

I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while in Sayulita and it was great! I stayed in a private room, (private bathroom), very clean, it felt like home. The location is amazing and the prices are very affordable. Would stay here again, no doubt!

This is my fourth year returning to Casa Amistad. It’s so relaxing and seems to attract the most interesting and wonderful people. I love the animals too and enjoyed some fun beach walks with the dogs. The morning coffee is a great addition to what is already a great place to stay. It’s more like a home than a hostel.

Stayed here for two nights early February. Easy on the bank balance and worth so much more than you pay. Connie (the owner) was the friendliest lady! I was with my (hopefully soon-to-be) wife and her 7 year old daughter and we stumbled across this place late at night having not prepared accommodation. They didn't have any private rooms available...

All your basics will be covered at casa amistad, and more! Fab coffee in the morning, close to beach and food/groceries. If you want to experience what true hospitality feels like, you have made the right stop. Connie and her staff never seem to tire out of helping, recommending and cautioning, to mention a few. We keep coming to casa...

“Its a small hostal, they sleep only 18 folks. It feels like home, good managers, nice animals, great coffee and often meals together make it a very European feeling Hostal. the open air hostal is wonderful,if the town is quiet..The private rooms are spacious and have strong fans, to block noise and keep you cool. The hostal faces north,so it always feels cool inside/”
