This was our third year visiting Troncones and our third year of having a delicious dinner at The Garden Restaurant at The Inn at Manzanillo Bay. It was no accident we found this place as it was recommended to us on our first visit by friends who have been coming for years to the area. They actually make the trip...

The Inn at Manzanillo Bay is a charming, small, resort that is beautifully appointed and landscaped. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also met the owner, who isn't there every day, and found him engaging and very interested in our experience. The food is delicious! The view from our room overlooked the pool, landscaping, and on out to the...

We have just made reservations for our third annual week long stay at The Inn for November, 2014. For us, it is the ultimate Mexican beach vacation, because of the quiet location, excellent staff, good accommodations, wonderful food and spectacular setting. Although The Inn is located along side a dusty road, its situation far down a well maintained path leads...

From the beginning of our stay to the unfortunate end, my husband and I couldn't have been more spoiled with our surroundings. The grounds are gorgeous and every bungalow welcomes it's guests with a private (ocean front) patio, hammock, and sitting area. Perfect for sipping one of their signature margaritas made with their very own house-made Big Boy tequila! Of...

This is a lovely little beach get-away in already laid back Troncones. We took some friends with us for an overnight stay and we were all delighted with the views from each and every room, the tidy cabanas with a hammock and private porch which were perfect for drinks and card playing. The Bay itself is beautiful for strolling and...

The pool and landscaping are truly beautiful and the bungalows have their charms - but the overall experience was so unwelcoming that we left early and moved to another hotel. The owners, whom we barely saw, felt removed and indifferent, as if what they most want is to avoid guests. The Mexican staff was hard-working and friendly (some more so,...

We spent 7 days at The Inn at Manzanillo Bay between Christmas and New Year's based on the recommendation of friends. All the various review sites we reference were equally positive. This beautiful & well run gem met our all expectations! The property is well maintained, friendly attentive staff and a superb beach. We especially enjoyed the Garden Restaurant. The...

Troncones is a sleepy little beach town with bad roads, being repaired lined with private homes and a few hotels. Found a Town Car taxi in front of Scruples in Ixtapa who told us he could only charge us the published rate of 400 pesos but Tomas gladly accepted a tip and it was very comfortable for five people. The...

We dropped into the hotel restaurant just to check it out. Not a car in the parking lot so we almost turned around but decided to go in for a drink. Ordered drinks and the smoked marlin appetizer salad - that was it, we stayed for what turned out to be one of the best dinners we had during our...

My husband and I had a 10 day honeymoon here and it was amazing! It was so lovely and peaceful, we both agreed that this was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had!
