This place was one of the best of our 5 month trip. Its right near the beach, with cheap places to eat nearby. Its really affordably priced, the owners Simón and Valentín are really nice people, they treat you like friends. We stayed for just over a week, and we felt so comfortable there, just as if we were at...

Decent, basic rooms and breakfast inc. No kitchen. 45 soles for a double shared bathroom. Hot water. Friendly staff. Although we got left locked out for 20 minutes, twice! They did not hear us ringing the bell when watching tv upstairs.

We walked into Chimu after a long bus ride, disheveled and by chance, to be greeted with the most natural kind of hospitality. After three nights here I was moved to contribute my first review, in the hope others might get to meet Simón and Valentín: two of the most genuine, humble and generous dudes to grace our holiday. We...

Chimu Beach is one of the loveliest hostal we've been. We stopped in Huanchaco for the surf and Chimu is super closed to the beach. The hostal is very very clean, comfortable and has a great energy. Simon, the manager, is a fantastic guy! He's smart, passionate and very helpful. He made us feel at home! I highly recommend Chimu...

Our South African Surf Team stayed at Chimu Beach for the duration of the World Champs at Huanchaco. We pretty much 'took over' the place, but Simon and his brothers allowed us to make their home ours. General areas and bathrooms were always clean, even though we constantly were backwards and forwards from the beach with wet towels, sand and...

Stayed here for about a week at the start of september. Simon is an absolute legend! Really chilled out and it feels like your just at home. He takes the cleaning too seriously in my opinion and is always moping up and making sure everything is super tidy! There is a guitar in lounge area and it's a nice place...

We stayed at Chimu Beach for 2 weeks and loved it. It was the cleanest hostal we visited in Peru. Simon and his brothers were extremely welcoming and helpful. The definition of perfect hosts! We felt like we became friends with them and would go back to Haunchaco to specifically see them. They are very knoledgable about the area and...

We ended up staying 4 nights as we found Huanchaco really relaxing. This hostel is good value for money $19 for a double room with a shared bathroom per night. There are much cheaper dorms/rooms in Huanchaco, but we felt really comfortable here. The bathrooms were really clean and shared 1 per 2 rooms. Breakfast was really good (egg, bread,...

Simon, one of the owners, makes it a pleasant stay! He's passionate about his job and takes it serious that you want to have a nice stay. He speaks english and helped me speaking spanish. Allthough I had a couple of critical points, it's a good hostel. And the best thing is that Simon wanted to know my feedback so...

Clean, cheap, friendly, kind, guitars, kitchen, wifi, hot shower, fun, BBQ. I was supposed to stay in Huanchaco only for a couple of days, but since Simon, the owner, and the other stuff and the people staying here were all awesome, I've spent almost 2 months here at Chimu Beach. I've been travelling around Latin America for 11 months for...
