We stayed here for just over a week in a room with a balcony, ensuite and double bed. There is hot water, TV and guests have access to the kitchen and a swimming pool. Few points, as far as western standards go, the communal areas are kept clean - though an allowance needs to be made for the current renovations...

please do not stay here this hostel is incredibly unsafe, dirty and unfriendly. We repeatedly had to ask the only two staff members (who were 90 years or older) to get clean sheets after the people before us had checked out, there was a large knife and opened and old food in our room. There was no useable pool, the...

Kitchen was FILTHY and included cockroaches. So bad we couldn't even cook in it. Rooms are tired and old. Our pillows smelt of mould. No toilet paper in the room and we had to ask for it and wait a while until they brought some up. No light in stairwell. No water in pool. Staff seem very indifferent to us...

Ok rooms with en suite. Staff alright but not always around. Bit rundown and staff were noisy. Otherwise ok place to stay a night. No hot water at all our whole stay. Overpriced for quality of room but clean enough. Near the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was not appealig to use despite the offer.

In comparison to other hotels...

We chose to stay here during our visit in Huanchaco, as we were not happy with our previous hostel just across the street - so went to the nearest option. Outside this place there is a poster, claiming they have a pool, hot water and shared kitchen for 40 soles. When we asked, they said the room was 35 soles,...

This is a budget options, and has to be reviewed as such. It is not the cheapest option in this street, as you can find cheaper rooms and dorms across the street in 2 different hostels. This place is about 35 soles for a double or twin room with bathroom, the one across the street is 30 soles. This place...

Warning: Do not choose this hostel! Our stay at Huanchaco Inn Hospedaje on La Pinos street was terrible from the beginning! Kitchen is old, rotten and things keeps disappearing because the owners family takes the equipment away. The refrigerator was not working and the owner keept saying that it now worked. In our first room the balcon door couldn't close...
