This location was perfect for us, as we came off the bridge from the Katy Trail. The gentleman who welcomed us brought us into a lovely parlour, where soft music was playing and sherry and nuts awaited the weary traveler. The rooms are gorgeous and generously sized. We hated to miss what we were certain would have been a lovely... More

Loved this lovely place located just left from the bike bridge at the top of the hill. We were greeted by a very kind docent who gave us the tour and told us we had the place to ourselves! What a treat! She recommended a fun Irish pub for dinner and directed us to a wonderful bike shop where we... More

Beautiful building, lovely rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. I was disappointed in the generic products to use in the bathroom. All the B&Bs, and hotels, I have stayed in have wonderful little products for guests to use, not the case here. Also, a Keurig coffee machine would definitely be a plus for each guest to make their own... More

We are pleased that you enjoyed all that we offer - a wonderful historic home with a fantastic river view, comfortable room with wi-fi and TV, fresh homemade breakfast, and complimentary sherry, mixed nuts, coffee, tea, soda, and bottled water. We stayed here one night while cycling the Katy Trail, and loved the place! Liz was a fantastic hostess and extremely helpful. We were able to do laundry, and chat with other cyclists who were also staying there. We stayed in one of the top rooms with a balcony overlooking the river, and absolutely loved it. Breakfast was also excellent.... More

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your ride on the Katy Trail. We are pleased that you enjoyed the historic atmosphere, comfortable room, home made breakfast, and friendly staff. And that we could accommodate you for laundry. Unfortunately, several businesses and sight-seeing opportunities are closed in Jefferson City on Sundays and Mondays; most evenings, the closest eating... More

I stayed on a Wed midweek night as an overnight layover on a bike trip along the entire Katy Trail. I happened to have the entire mansion (that's what it is) to myself as the lone guest. I highly recommend this B&B. Everything about it is well-done, classy and with the greatest detail directed to the Guest. The decor alone... More

I was blown away when rode my bike around the corner and encountered this mansion built by a 19th century judge--wow! The grounds are trimmed and polished better than a woman's manicured nails. That house literally sits on top of a bluff arising from the Missouri River itself--the view is a panoramic eye-popper. Get to the house early enough in... More

We completed our KATY trail bike trip and Cliff Manor was our stop in Jefferson City. This was a wonderful experience in a house full of history. We were met by the house person (not owner, but representative) and had secure parking in a shed for our bikes. The AC worked great and the house was wonderfully restored. Great history... More

We just spent one night, but enjoyed it very much. As it turned out, we were the only guests for this mid visit. We were greeted cheerfully as we checked in and given a quick rundown of the facility. We had one of two suites. Very nice and spacious. Note that only the suites have a private bath. The other... More

This is one of the best B&B experiences I have had. 3 couples stayed in 2 suites and a room at great prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included an individual baked egg casserole, yogurt and fruit. The location looks over the Missouri River. The historic house is spacious and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Highly... More

From the moment you set foot in the inn you will be happy and restful. Every little touches you can ask for. And, it's a value. As I'm writing this review I'm watching the Missouri River flow past and appreciate the beauty of this experience And isn't that's why you chose a B&B?
