Usually stay at the Raphael while in Kansas City, but it was booked up last weekend. Didn't realize the Plaza Art Fair was going on. We were happy we ended up at the Courtyard! We actually found it more convenient to access the Plaza from the north side. Flat screen TV was viewable from the sofa or the bed. Larger...

My family stayed here a few years ago, and it was the most wonderful, beautiful Courtyard we had ever stayed at! On our trip this fall we were dissappointed in the changes that have been made. The lobby has lost most of its 1920's charm due to a remodel, and the new colors of maroon and silver just look cold...

We decided to take a vacation in or home town, really! Oh, and what a great time it was. It doesn't get better than this. We could have went home each night but it wouldn't have been the same. Whether you live hear or out of town, this hotel is where you want to stay. Lived here all my life...

I recently had a very good stay here. This is not a typical Courtyard property: it's a charming older apartment building that has been converted into a hotel. I loved the 1920's look and feel of the building, but if you like a modern suburb cookie cutter sort of place, this might not be for you. You park in a...

Arrived at noonish on a Friday - which is 3 hours before check-in and stopped in just to see if our room happened to be available. The front desk was very accommodating and got us into a room early. Front desk staff was very friendly all weekend. Walking distance to everything in the plaza area. Room was very nice although...

I was off balanced by this hotel. It is at the crest of a hill and you walk upstairs to get inside. My desk clerk was a trainee and when I went to my room it had not yet been made up. They made a billing mistake that was corrected several days later after I made three phone calls. I...

This is your typical full service a marriott in a good location with good service. I was on the concierge level, which was nice and breakfast included bacon. Staff was very friendly. Hotel has new carpet in halls and rooms which helps what is otherwise an older looking Marriott from the outside.

The hotel is very nice and a short walk to restaurants and hotels. But avoid the Courtyard Cafe. Service is abominable. You're lucky to get a refill on your coffee - which you really need since it takes 30 minutes to receive a simple eggs, bacon and toast breakfast. The waitress apologized for the slow service - but the fact...

The hotel sits on the eastern edge of the upscale Country Club Plaza, going about its business competently without fanfare, fuss, or frills. It's in the old Park Lane building, an architectural gem, overlooking Mill Creek Park where brides get their photos snapped by the Nichols fountain. We stayed two nights over the Labor Day Weekend there. Our room on...

My husband and I enjoy staying here when we are in the area. It is comfortable, clean, and very nice. They usually have cookies made in the afternoon for guests. The breakfast in the morning, complimentary is nice, too. Yes, it is nice to stay here. The personnel is all very helpful.
