Stayed there for six nights in Cabin.
Run down and shoddy.
Way over priced for what it was.
Location very good and fishing excellent but the cabin we stayed in was very run down. Need big money spending on it.

Family rented a cabin and the furniture was shoddy as was the utensils and dinnerware. For the price, it was terrible. Screened in porch had holes, so the horse flies and mosquitoes feasted all weekend. We brought our large motorhome and we were sorely disappointed. 21km of gravel road left our beautiful unit caked in dust, inside and out! Only 15Amp service, so we had to use our Generator constantly. No sewer or waterhookups, and SO MANY HORSEFLIES. We only came because other family members rented a cottage, but they won't be back either. It is certainly good for those who like 'rough camping."We will NEVER return again.

Stayed six nights - bad value. Website site leads you to think its a resort with cabins. The signs outside say "Pierce Lake Resort". However, it's an RV trailer park with 3 cabins in the middle. The sofa in our cabin was so worn out, it was supported by 2" x 4" boards. Missing screens on windows so you can't open them during a heatwave. Mattresses so worn out that should have been thrown out 30 years ago. One dock is half sunken in the lake and the other has rotten plywood deck thats splintering. Nice beach though.

Then the RV's trailer folk show up and start running huge, loud generators. We came out to the woods and lake to enjoy nature, not listen to their engines. While we went fishing, nearby entitled campers felt free to visit our site, sit in our chairs and wander through cause they can't be bothered to use a pathway around our site.

The owner works very hard and long hours. She has to deal with campers who feel entitled to do what ever they want because they've been there before. The website should describe it as a budget RV trailer park and not a cabin getaway.

Spent four uncomfortable nights here. Was told lake had walleye (big lie) Lake was nice and clear and good pike fishing. Fish cleaning booth and garbage a long walk for a senior.
We have been visiting the surrounding area for fishing for over thirty years. Worst cabin conditions ever. I think we may have contacted something from the bedding as we are still scratching four days after we got home.
No air movement in cabin and shower plumbing was bad. Place up foe sale "Good Luck" Tawaw on Waterhen much better value.

The operators Judy and Ralph, were absolutely fantastic. They took over this fishing camp five years ago and have made this camp a great place to come and relax. They made our family fishing trip a success. Even though it was early in the season the store was fully stocked, the boats were all in the water and ready to go. The cabins had bedding supplied at no extra charge, the appliances all worked in all 3 cabins we had. Ralph even had some extra parts for boats that we bought to get our boat working when it broke down. The fish were not very cooperative but that is the way it goes when you go fishing. Lots of fish but just not biting for us.

Worst people that own this campsite my husband just set up our camp he had the generator on to get some air in our trailer! And this is during the day and extremely hot weather conditions and came to our trailer and told us there is no generators at the campsite that we had to shut it off didn’t care if someone is sick and long way to the hospital!!!!

This will be my 3rd year I have visited this Camp. The pricing for overnight in a Cabin is very good. You can rent a boat here if you need to . I always bring mine. I fish for Lakers here . I am told there are several other types of fish but I like Trout. Sometimes I fish all day and catch very little. But not often, the lake is deep clean and has very nice scenery. The only bad thing is the Road to the camp I wish they would put Oil on it to prevent the Dust.
