What a fantastic find this beautiful B&B was. We stayed here as we attended a wedding at Hoar Cross Hall and we certainly was not disappointed. From start to finish it really was a lovely experience. Karen and Dave were super hosts, so friendly, welcoming and really helpful. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, spotless, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious too, we had a full English and it was lovely. Unfortunately we were only there on a quick trip but hopefully one day we will be back for longer. I would most definitely recommend this lovely place. Thanks Karen & Dave it was excellent.
Looked online to find a cafe to take a client out, came across this little gem which looked amazing on the website. This place did not disappoint from the moment I walked in the two sisters were so welcoming and friendly, it was like being amongst friends. Food and service was amazing. My client and I loved the hot chocolates, so highly recommend to try them. Best cafe I have been in for quite some time, will definitely be back. I can’t recommend this place enough, a must visit if you want good food, welcoming hosts and the best hot chocolate !
Great B&B lovely hosts nice clean room good breakfast ideal if you are attending a wedding at hoar cross hall we left car at hoar cross hall got taxi back to the hotel had breakfast in morning and then they ran us back to pick car up can not fault this B&B well done thanks
This B&B is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and practicable. We were very impressed. Karen and Dave are great hosts and the breakfast was outstanding. I can't rate this B&B highly enough. We will certainly be booking again in the future. For those arriving on a Sunday afternoon most local pubs stop meal services from 5.00pm. However there is a restaurant 1.5 miles from the B&B serving until 9.00pm. There is no parking at the B&B but on road parking opposite the church just across the road or on the Red Lion Pub car park, again just across the road is available. This is a very quiet area so no issues with noise and or busy traffic. The cake and tea room below the B&B is a must do. Karen makes all her own cakes and is really popular with locals and passing walkers and cyclists. If your in this area make it your first choice.…
What a wonderful welcome we received at baker’s cottage, Karen is so warm and friendly we immediately felt relaxed it almost felt like we were staying with family friends… that in itself should speak volumes . Our family room was delightful , French style chic , also very comfortable , easily the best nights sleep I have had all week!!! Dave, Karen’s husband lost his job due to Covid , so is helping run the business with Karen , he cooks breakfast, which was very much the perfect start to the day. Thank you Dave . My daughter, grandson & I really enjoyed the warmth & company of Karen & Dave and their gorgeous cockerpoo Ollie, as I’m sure that anyone who stays here will find out for themselves. Wishing you both all the very best for the future…& I hope your business goes from strength to strength. Many thanks .. Diana, Laura & Patrick…
Just back from an overnight stay at this unique B&B. We had a fabulous time the hosts Karen and David are great. Karen bakes the most delicious cakes and David makes the most fabulous cooked english breakfast in the morning. The pub is literally 2 minutes walk and serves amazing meals as well. Can't wait to return soon.
I stumbled upon this beautiful cafe whilst on my way to a meeting in the area. It immediately caught my eye, and it reminded me of something out of a Christmas movie. Bev was so friendly, and immediately made you feel welcomed and at home. The cakes looked delicious and many locals stopped in while I drank my tea for a slice. It was a hidden gem and I highly recommend stopping in for a visit- you can even stay the night as it's also a B&B!

My son was sailing at Blithfield Sailing Club so we needed a place for the night. Just 5 miles away in the quaint village of Newborough this B&B is run by a lovely lady and her husband who also own the tea room in the village. The family room is stunning as per my photo, bed is comfortable and room is spotless. Very friendly and accommodating we highly recommend this B&B Enjoy your stay!
I visited this wonderful tea room today to find out it’s had a total face lift and is under new management. The tea room has the ultimate ‘shabby chic’ feel with lovely hand painted furniture and excellent little touches. Karen, the new owner, was very welcoming. I would highly recommend the carrot cake! 🎂
