Eranga (houseboss) is one of the nicest people I know! He will always help you and gives you a friendly welcome. If you need anything or want to know something, he's the one to ask. About the stay: it is a clean nice house, ideal for friends or family. It's small luxary. You're really in paradise if you stay here. It is like you are in the jungle! Also it's really quiet. The beach is just a one minute walk and within 5minutes you are in the lineup.

Dikwatta resort is truely one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been. It’s hidden at the end of Madiha and just a couple of steps away from an epic surfspot. The host is very kind and provides everything you need for a perfect holiday. Rooms, kitchen and garden are well taken care off and childfriendly. The beauty and silence of surrounded nature gives a heartwarming feeling. Recommended for sure!

Beautiful old renovated house with large garden, away from mass tourism. Spacious rooms with handmade furniture made of coconut wood and hand-woven bed linen. We used the time on the large veranda to enjoy fruits from the garden - bananas, coconut, guava. The house is only a jump away from a quiet sandy beach, in the natural "pool" of rocks, suitable for even small children. Eranga is a very hospitable person who speaks very good English. We made many excursions together and learned a lot from him about the nature and culture of the country. Eranga has organized a lot of things for us – visits to national park, beaches tea plantation and buddh. Temple; shopping, jungle. He is also great tuktuk and car driver! His family prepared delicious meals for us - the best curry and rice we had in Sri Lanka! It was a wonderful holiday that Eranga and his family made unforgettable. We want to come back soon! If you are looking for relaxation away from the mass tourism and want to learn something about the culture and nature of the country, then you are in good hands with Eranga!
