We stayed in a two bedroom condo which was part of the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar. The condo was great with a large bedroom with a king bed and small kitchen area, a full kitchen area with a table and couch, and then a second bedroom with a king size bed. The two bedrooms were separated from the kitchen/living...

We were excited to visit the Wilderness Club at Big Cedar, given its reputation. We left there having enjoyed the trip but also having been underwhelmed by much of the Big Cedar experience. We are not owners, but booked a two-bedroom combined lodge unit through an owner friend of ours. We were booked into the 2400 building, and moved to...

This was our regular anniversary trip - and it was truly memorable. We stayed in a suite that had a bedroom separate from the family room and kitchen. It included a large whirlpool bath, a balcony that included a dining table and chairs. There was a gas log fireplace in the family room to keep us warm during the cold...

This is our family's favorite getaway spot. The atmosphere is friendly and beautiful, and we always leave refreshed. Love that the amenities are all included without extra fees. Big Cedar will not disappoint.

Our room (2308 in the Phoenix building) was very clean as were the grounds and buildings throughout Big Cedar. It should be noted that there isn't daily housekeeping but if needed you can request it. We loved that they deliver fresh cookies to your room every evening. We also really appreciated the kitchenette in our room and the small private...

Stayed at the Wilderness Club, Big Cedar for 4 nights with our kids (boys - 6 & 11) for Spring Break. Had a great 2 bedroom, 2 bath room on the top floor of the James River Lodge. We've stayed in that same building several times and this was our favorite room. Had a balcony off the studio (that the...

The walls are paper thin and the walking area in front of the condos are made of wood making the rooms very noisy...while the area is beautiful and the buildings look nice, they are very cheaply built. The room was very dusty and you could hear conversations above, below and next to my room...parking is also a pain as there...

This is our first time at Big Cedar Wilderness Club. Our parents are Bluegreen owners. We have previously stayed at the Long Creek Villas and Paradise Point both have surpassed our expectations and been very nice. We just checked in to the Wilderness Club and so far we are disappointed. The reservation staff have been fair at best, not very...

A nice resort with a very friendly and responsive staff. Our visit was in early March with bare trees and cool weather. Nonetheless, we enjoyed most activities offered by the club. In particular, Top of the Rock was an unexpected pleasure and the food at Arnie's Barn was very good. Also, try the chili at Buzzard's Bar. I like chili...

Big cedar lodge rests by table rock lake. Of the three types of rooms- studio, suite, master- my wife and I stayed in the cheapest which is studio. Nice balcony view of the lake. Only thing bad I can say is the bathroom was basic and small. The suites have jetted tubs and huge bathrooms though.
