At The Garden House Bed and Breakfast we serve a breakfast you won’t soon forget. Many of our previous guests return year after year because we make breakfast a special treat. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast served on your schedule on your private patio. When you check in we will will ask what you like, don’t care for and cannot have. Your specially created main entree will be delivered to your table when you are ready. Breakfast includes fresh orange juice, coffee and fruit. For early risers, specialty coffee is available in our kitchen twenty-four hours a day. Take a carafe with you to your private patio and enjoy the sunrise or sip our unique brew while reading a book.
Staying here is better than any hotel or resort at the lake. The house is beautiful. Besides your room, there is a gorgeously furnished living room to sit in and enjoy the views, and another sitting room downstairs with a pool table. The owners (Todd and Shannon) are so kind and chatty at breakfast, but then you don’t see them the rest of the day. This makes it feel like you aren’t staying in someone’s house, even though you are. Todd gave us a ride in his boat one morning to show us around, and allowed us to use his kayaks, paddle boards, and lily pad. We spent a whole afternoon just swimming off the dock and relaxing. This was probably my favorite part- we had the amenities of the lake but it was private as opposed to staying at a resort that would be flooded with people. Todd made absolutely delicious and beautiful breakfast platters at whatever time you wanted them each day. Having it on your patio instead of at the table with all the other guests was perfect. Our room (the rose room) was I believe the most private feeling option since the door was at the end of a hall and the patio was separate from the other room at that floor. The room was beautiful and we loved seeing the water out the sliding glass doors. I will recommend this place to anyone interested in a trip to the lake, and would definitely stay here again if we ever came back. It is a 10 out of 10 stars!!

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had! Todd & Shannon were excellent hosts. They have a beautiful home, right on the lake, with a large dock that offers a small bar for guest use, fire table with chairs and lounge chairs to relax and soak in the sun. A deck with a hot tub that overlooks the lake where you experience beautiful views. Each guest room has a lake view with a deck and private seating where you can be served a delicious breakfast homemade by Todd. There's something for everyone: relaxation, water activities, historical sites, hiking, shopping, so many dining options, wineries, and so much more. This weekend was beyond our expectations. What a gorgeous property! Need to relax and be totally taken care of down to the detail?? Then this is the right place for you…we stayed in Tulip room. The Garden House bnb was beautiful, every room has a waterfront view, cleaned immaculately, water toys available, delicious gourmet breakfast daily. The coffee is AMAZING. Todd and Shannon clearly care about the guests here. You can tell they are living their dream and passion. Todd is the energizer bunny. He knows what you need before you ask and is like a lightening bolt running around serving and helping you. Todd did a complimentary boat ride at sunset and it was honestly the icing on the cake for us. He is so sweet!! Breakfast is very tasty! Everything is just perfect. Book now!

Awesome place to call your temporary home! The facility is top notch. Right on the water. Each room has a view of the lake. Todd and Shannon are great host. From the house amenities to the very tasty breakfast that is “served” to you each morning, while taking in the calmness of Lake of the Ozark! A simple place to rest on the dock enjoying the lake, and/or a bonus boat ride. Todd as your captain has a great insight of the lake and the surroundings. A definite bed & pamper (breakfast included) place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here after the New years holiday for our 25th anniversary. We could not believe how gorgeous this house is! It's incredibly clean, smells wonderful thanks to the candles around the house, and the view is BREATHTAKING!! Todd and Shannon take the best care of you while you are there. Todd cooked us a delicious gourmet breakfast both mornings and told us tips about the area, things to do and other helpful information. Also, we stayed in the Rose room and it has it's own deck overlooking the lake and a jacuzzi tub. Another nice touch. I can't wait until we can return. Thank you, Todd and Shannon. We are recommending this place to others too!

The views from every room are amazing! Every room has a balcony to overlook the main channel. Each room is tastefully decorated and the bed linens are much better than the ones I have at home. We had breakfast served outside on our balcony seating. I got up early each morning and enjoyed coffee, birds chirping, and watching the boats. Shannon and Todd are great hosts and very welcoming. Can’t forget to mention the beautiful dock by the water. We spent every evening down there. This was our third visit and we are planning to visit again!

This bed and breakfast is so welcoming with an idyllic view of Lake of the Ozarks. It is truly a "garden house" as plants fill the home and yard. The weather was perfect for a delicious breakfast served on the deck outside our room! Friendly, personable hosts make this bed and breakfast superb.

This was our second visit to The Garden House Bed and Breakfast and as the first time....it was absolutely amazing! Todd and Shannon are amazing hosts paying attention to all the small details. Breakfast on the deck each morning was simply delicious. Drinks on the deck in the evening were relaxing. It's true what they say...you arrive as guests and leave as friends. Can't wait to come back.

The rooms throughout this beautiful home were so spacious, clean and relaxing. You did not feel like you were spending time in someone else's place. You felt welcome to roam the three levels and sit and take in the quietness of the house and the lake. Kick your shoes off at the front door and enter to a scenic view of the lake. The security at the front door, assured you that you were safe and would not have to worry about anything. Todd, your host has lake "toys" available for your use down at the dock. Even fishing poles! His morning creation of food, (calling it breakfast, just isn't right) appears on your private balcony at your leisure. No rush to get up at a certain time to eat. Each morning was fun to wake up to see the creative and healthy treat he made for us with our personal food choices. The gardens maintained by Shannon were beautiful and fragrant. The many hummingbirds entertained us each morning from our balcony as we watched the beautiful lake come to life. Wish you much success, Todd and Shannon.

I don’t know where to begin…from the time you arrive to the time you leave you are treated like royalty. The hosts, Todd and Shannon, are so welcoming and ensure you have the best stay possible. The breakfast each morning is a wonderful, culinary delight. Having breakfast served to you on your own private deck overlooking the lake is amazing. The Garden House B & B is a beautiful place to stay!
