Once the busiest train station in the country, this unique hotel has become a treasure. Now run by Hilton it has been turned into a top notch destination in St Louis. Once a part of an indoor shopping mall that has just recently closed, the hotel lobby is a sight to behold. A fifty foot high barrel shaped ceiling stands...

1) Valet parked - very busy; 2) Had to ask directions to registration - was asked if we wanted to take steps - carrying our luggage? No, we did not! Directed to a door that would lead to the elevator after going through a dark hallway where luggage is stored. 3) Friendly staff at registration who assured us we had...

Staying at this hotel is like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences of today. The hotel is a 25 minute train ride from the airport with no transfers. When you enter, you're immediately impressed with the beautiful architecture and lighting in the lobby. The executive level rooms are newly renovated and named after train lines. The decor for...

Not that restoring an old train station is not cool enough, but this place is an amazing hotel and conference center, and honorably defines the term 'unique.' I liked the staff, the grandeur of the breakfast room, the cool layout with the rooms facing the pool and the pool facing the water, all completely under the roof of the old...

Very interesting structure and the kids loved exploring the hotel. It was really nice and convenient that two restaurants were right out the back entrance (Hard Rock Cafe and Lambert's Sea Food). Only complaint was the pool was closed the last evening we were there and no one seemed to know why or when it would re-open and then when...

Visited St. Louis with the family. This hotel is beautiful on the outside and looks like a castle. Our room was comfortable but had a view to a court yard of restaurants and shops that was mostly abandoned and boarded up. The first night my daughter went to bed she felt something at her feet. It turned out to be...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I sincerely apologize as the concerns mentioned with the housekeeping areas are certainly not indicative of our standards. I appreciate the details to allow us in rectifying such concerns. I am glad you enjoyed the breakfast buffet and great selection of items. Please feel free to contact me for any...

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. Five star hotel service at a fantastic price. We attended a wedding reception at the hotel (and we stayed there) and we were blown away by the service and attention to detail. The pool area was lovely and the laser show in the lobby was extremely cool. Valet was quick and very...

Wow, definitely not your average DoubleTree Hilton. From the moment you step into the front lobby, you realize this is a special place. Literally, the entrance lobby is immaculate and every time I walked through I couldn't help but stop and stare. As for the rooms, the executive section is gorgeous...hardwood floors and modern decor. I told my wife, not...

This hotel is amazing! Seriously, this was an experience and highlight of St. Louis in and of itself. We paid a little more to get a room on the older train station side. It was in a recently renovated room with lots of character and style. It's worth it for that extra experience, especially if you are at all into...

Basically, the hotel is set in downtown St. Louis inside this old train station that at some point was turned into a mall. It's really a nice hotel compared to several other hotels I've visited in the area, and it is not incredibly far from downtown attractions, if you don't mind walking. But the hotel is also in a somewhat...
