This hotel is like no other I have seen in the Midwest. Beautiful lobby and rooms, felt like kings and queens treatment at a very fair price. Close to sporting events and good restaurants. The staff was very helpful and made sure everything went smooth

This is a first class hotel in terms of service, location and architecture. This hotel was converted from the main train station from back in the day. Every evening in the rotunda, there is a light show that is displayed that is very enjoyable for the whole family. The location if the hotel is minutes away from a number of...

Spent the night here with my cousins when in town to see Jason Isbell at the Peabody. Great spot - walking distance to lots of things downtown! The service was very good - our room was great. Very clean, beds comfortable. The lobby/bar area of the hotel is the old train station. Wonderful place to sit, watch people and have...

We visited with our three young children during the NCAA tournament. We were greeted with quick and friendly valet parking. At checkin, Melodee upgraded us to a suite after hearing we had 3 kids with us. The upgraded room wasn't quite ready, so she gave each of the kids a chocolate chip cookie and comped our valet parking. While waiting...

This was a great weekend getaway from Kansas City. The locality of the hotel was a plus as we didn't require a rental car. The staff (especially Brenda and Donald as mentioned earlier) was grade A and deserve recongition in front of their peers. Although I didn't mention them earlier the doormen were very professional and always had warm greetings....

My husband and I spent the night while there for a family wedding and could not have been happier with the location, the grand hall, the renovations done to maintain this site's historical significance as well as the creative light show, updated room, excellent bed. The entire staff was excellent.

From the time we got there to when we checked out the staff was awesome - always smiling and willing to assist with anything. The grand bar is a great place to unwind, have a drink and food...both of which were very reasonable and delicious. We happened to be there during the St. Patrick's day parade and could not have...

Service is decent. Restaurant and lobby bar take forever to get food out. The hallways to the rooms can be a literal maze. I stay here weekly for work an I have grown comfortable knowing what the hotel does well and what it does not. Business center needs a scanner. You can't call yourself a 4 star hotel and not...

I booked a room for two nights with this hotel because they take dogs. The room itself was clean but had no view. It looked out into the bowels of the old train station. So it was rather dark unless all of the lights were turned on. Room service was adequate. The hotel maid didn't show up until almost 4...

Thank you for your recent visit and for taking the time to share your feedback. I do certainly wish to apologize that your stay was not as enjoyable as most our guests. We do have an extremely high score for "problem-free stays", but it seems that you somehow caught a few frustrations during your visit. I can only speculate why...

From the second you walk in, it is an amazing expirience. The staff at the front door, hostess, everyone we came in contact with was wonderful! I can't even begin to describe the atmosphere and interior. It's an excellent mix between contemporary and historic! The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very cozy. The laser light show...
