this is one of the nicest motels that we have stayed in. The staff was friendly, helpful, and great to work with. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It was a nice surprise to have a suite with two tvs, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom. This suite also had a micro and fridge. the...

Searched on several motels in the Sikeston area and decided to give the ABV a try, I'm glad I did. The motel is a former top of the line class place which has now aged. Each unit has two rooms, a bedroom and a sitting room, and two TVs which is great for couples with different TV tastes. We found...

Looking through hotels nearby is at the end of a long day's drive, we chose an inexpensive one -- this wonderful place! It has a beautiful and spacious lobby, large breakfast room, large tree-shaded veranda, library and other places. High ceilings give a sense of past elegance. Each unit is 2 rooms with the living room having a comfortable couch...

Out of the way location yet close to everything. Huge rooms-suite with two tv's for the price of a tiny room. Good breakfast (sf syrup too) and nice staff. They didn't offer regular hot tea-only specialty teas and combo bath was a large shower stall with spout on the wall-head wetting. The parking was way out from out entrance-and rooms...

I am not giving this a 4/5 saying it competes with other 4/5 hotels, but this place shows that it cares. It is outdated and could use a room facelift, but it was clean, breakfast was hot and decent, great halfway stop if you need a place to stay with plenty of room.

I booked a king suite and the room was clean, and very roomy but the hotel itself is extremely well worn. Cracks in the tile in the bathroom, tub had a very old bathmat that personally I was just not comfortable using. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I had scheduled my return trip to stay there but I canceled...

Never having been to Sikeston, MO before, we weren't sure what would be available. I actually waited until the last minute to call. Normally, I go with TripAdvisor and pick one of the common well-known hotels. This one, I'm not sure why I choose to call this one but I AM GLAD I DID!!! It is very nice. VERY clean....

Man, I would have really loved to stay at this place during its heyday! We had a large suite on the ground floor, and for the same price as we've paid for much smaller rooms. While the overall appearance of the hotel is a bit dated, the wide, sweeping stairways flanking the entrance belie its once-grand status. The rooms were...

Desk staff was friendly. Unfortunately the first room assigned was clean except the beds appearing to be slept in already. Called front desk and clerk was immediately to the room and assigned us to one across the hall. Room was very spacious and clean. Upon entering there was a hall closet and opened up to a living room with tv,...

We booked this location at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what the hotel was in its previous life, but the elegance was unexpected. There appears to be some deferred maintenance, which I hope they address so it continues to be grand. Our room, for the price was impressive. It was a suite, with a good...
